Review: Does an amazing job at sraping ice off freezers too!! - I live in an area where we have never had snow and only a few times of the year get frosty windows. I purchased this for those few times originally, but was somewhat bummed when the frost left before I got a chance to use it. Well, last night I found an alternative use for it. We have a chest freezer that needed to be cleaned out because lemon juice leaked everywhere! After talking about it a while- the idea popped it my hubbys head of using the scraper on it instead of waiting for the freezer ice to melt and having to toss all the food in the freezer. It took less than 10 minutes for the ice in the freezer to be scraped off all 4 walls and the floor of the freezer. We then used a trash bound box as a soup to scoop the ice up and trash it followed by wiping the ice free walls and floor of the freezer with a wet rag. The freezer is 3 years old and has never been cleaned or thawed because it seemed like a daunting task- the whole process took about 15 minutes with the both of us for a freezer large enough to fit a whole cow's worth of meat. I am very pleased with this little ice scraper. I had a different gas station one years ago when I did live where it snowed a lot, but that one was so big, bulky, and flimsy, that I tossed it when moving to warmer climates. This little gem, however, is very sturdy and doesn't give way. It is also compact enough to leave in a car kit at all times- snow or no snow. The ice of our freezer was really built on thick and a pain when we had to move racks, and this little puppy went through it like it was nothing. I am very pleased with this purchase and I think it will work wonders for when our frosted windows season starts again next year! Review: Strong, compact, and reliable. - Have used many winters and counting ever failed. ## Features - Made in China ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001DKO3X6 | | Best Sellers Rank | #54,740 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #48 in Ice Scrapers & Snow Brushes #3,800 in Car Care | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Subzero | | Brand Name | Subzero | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 5,838 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00079976166218 | | Handle Material | Foam | | Included Components | Subzero Hopkins 16621 Ice Scraper | | Item Dimensions L x W | 11"L x 4.5"W | | Item Type Name | Subzero Hopkins 16621 Ice Scraper | | Item Weight | 4 ounces | | Manufacturer | Hopkins Manufacturing | | Manufacturer Part Number | 16621 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | LIMITED WARRANTY | | Material | Metal, Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Metal, Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 16621 | | Product Dimensions | 11"L x 4.5"W | | Recommended Uses For Product | removing ice and frost from vehicles | | UPC | 751438398336 722544449397 753956241514 043929090004 079976166218 788809870993 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Subzero - **Handle Material:** Foam - **Material:** Metal, Stainless Steel - **Recommended Uses For Product:** removing ice and frost from vehicles - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Subzero Ice Scraper,7 in. I purchased this for those few times originally, but was somewhat bummed when the frost left before I got a chance to use it. Well, last night I found an alternative use for it. To scrape across a wide windshield, and not lean into the snow/ice on the side of your vehicle, you probably want something longer. ## Frequently Bought Together - Subzero Hopkins 16621 Ice Crusher Ice Scraper (Colors May Vary) - EcoNour 27" Aluminum Snow Brush with Ice Scrapers for Car Windshield and Window | Car Snow Scraper and Brush with Ergonomic Foam Grip Winter Accessories (Orange) - Zecval Ice Scraper for Cars and Small Trucks - Dang Near Indestructible Ice Scrapers for Car Windshield from Scrape Frost and Ice --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/1141544-subzero-ice-scraper-7-in-l-foam-grip-blue-16621](https://www.desertcart.be/products/1141544-subzero-ice-scraper-7-in-l-foam-grip-blue-16621) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
