The Rumford Gardener RG435A Canvas Garden Tote with Pockets Eggshell White

Would have preferred longer and a bit shallower (perhaps half the height) Garden tools too hard to access once in the bag.

As I have used this bag, I like it more than I thought. The canvas is soft, not the stiff type I was expecting. This has proven to be a plus as it does not contribute to the weight. I use this bag to carry my Australian Terrier's obedience training stuff. My only complaint is I would like to see the side pockets a bit larger. They are not quite large enough to hold a bottle of water and small stuff tends to be difficult to get out. Other than that, I am pleased with my purchase.

Purchased this garden tote as a gift for my sister. I hope she likes it as much as I do. It is roomy and well made, sure to give years of service. It is sturdy enough that I'll use it as a gift bag, filling it with her other gifts without danger of the fabric tearing. Delivery was timely and it was well packaged. Probably will purchase one for myself next summer as a mouse snacked on my current garden tote.

The description states that there are 5 deep pockets and bungee tool retainers. This is misleading as there are only bungee tool retainers on three of the pockets, as in the picture. The pockets on the other side are big and floppy and tools would fall out. If you have lots of tools you'd like to tote to the garden, that's important. I also thought the color was off -- it's more of a light tea color and definitely not white as shown in the picture. Additionally, it seems to be some sort of nylon/plastic materials That may simply be a coating on the canvas to protect it, which I think it is, but I couldn't tell for sure. Canvas usually is washable and doesn't have a coating, so the material seemed strange considering it's being sold as washable canvas. I'll look for another tote.

The garden tote arrived promptly and in excellent condition. It has held all my gardening"stuff" with room to spare. I just wish I could find a gardening tote that has a lid on it that I could lock! I have several small grandchildren who can't seem to resist getting in my bag when i am not around. If I did not have this problem, this tote would meet all my gardening needs. If they ever make one with a lid or lockable compartment, I will buy it!
