it fitted perfect.
Even Amazon said it doesn't fit on 2000 Toyota 4Runner; it worked perfectly.Update; I used it for about four years, which is not too bad for a cheap tail light. But my driver side stated to form up moisture, and now some of the led lights are not working.

looks and works well, seal questionable
looks great, easy to install, functions great. had to dock stars because it doesn’t seem like it’s sealed well enough. have had installed for about 3-4 months (during the dry season) and somehow moisture has already gotten in. pretty bummed.

My 99' 4 Runner looks a lot better now
I did a fair amount of research before buying these. I have a 99' 4 Runner Limited. They fit very well and I did it myself using youtube installation videos. The looks? AWESOME!!! 5 STARS!!!
