Awesome, easy repair kit
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the repair kit that arrived for the low price of $7. Yes, I understood when I ordered it that it was not going to come with any foam or a staple gun for installation, but that's OK. I am a handy gal and I went down to my local Michaels and purchased a piece of foam padding and my hubby already had a staple gun. I thought about turning the existing cover upside down like other Chevy reviewers had done during their repair kit installation, but I wanted an easier way out, so I just purchased an additional piece of foam padding for less than $5 and viola. The removal of the plastic piece on top is super easy, the stretching of the fabric and stapling is I guess the hardest part, but that's it. For $7 plus my $5 for foam, this was a steal of a repair kit and it looks great and feels great.

Perfect...looks awesome!!
March 12, 2018 - First of all, the shipping was fast!! And the price was the best part ($10). Vinyl quality is great. Material is easy to work with. This is not a OEM product but looks great. Theres a few people saying that it is a lil big and in fact it is, but if you check your original vinyl cover it comes padded from manufacturer so when installing this after market vinyl make sure to buy thin padding material to compensate the lil extra room. My 2009 Chevy Suburban center console cover had a rip of about 1" by 3" size hole, not too big. So what I did was to re-use the old vinyl cover but I turned it inside-out to use it as the extra padding for the new vinyl cover. And I use stronger staples. All in all it work very good. Tooked me about 1hr 30mins to replace vinyl cover. Check out my pictures as proof of how good my center console looks now!! I recommend this product 100%

Great solution for the price!
This was a great way to patch up a Suburban that is getting older and not worth putting a lot of money into. I had to buy a more powerful staple gun because I just put this material over the old stuff. There was a crack in the old arm rest which I put a piece of duct tape over then just stretched the new cover right over the old. I didn’t want to deal with finding new foam and it worked like a charm. Did this a few months ago and so far so good!

Exactly as advertised by the seller
The piece of vinyl arm rest cover fits perfectly on my 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, excellent quality material. I removed the screws from the inside of the arm rest cover, placed the new vinyl cover right on top of the old one, stapled the edges with a furniture stapler and screwed back the screws; however, due to the new thickness of the vinyl cover, I had to cut off a little bit of the edge of the plastic inner cover. After that insignificant modification, it all fitted back on perfectly.

Remove and replace
Works and looks nice. Don’t listen to the idiot who commented that you can put it over the old cover. Do it the right way and save yourself the aggravation and remove the old cover and install new. It looks great

Great alternative to going a upholstery shop
Great alternative to going a upholstery shop. It looks great. Installation was a little tricky but nothing you can't handle. You must have a staple gun with small staples to install. Pay attention to how the original cover was installed so you know how to install this cover; where to staple, where to trim and place a few more cuts. Also, I stapled top left, then inside left, top right, inside right, top back, inside back and finally the front. Make sure you stretch it a bit while you are installing so you don't have any wrinkles.

Booya!!
Only took about 30 min to install. Reused my factory leather and turned it inside out and installed the new leather ontop of it, which made for a tight fit and a more comfortable arm rest.

Its just ok. Original was padded a bit, this one is not. Had to find a thin pad to place under the vinyl. Too short on the inside where staple are going I (with the pad or without). Bottom line, you get what you pay for. NOT a 100% fit. After the job is done looks OK, color is a different shade of black. Staples are visible on the inside when console is open even though it was staples right on the edge (once again TOO short).
