Depends what you're looking for
This book is beautifully done in terms of appearance and layout. It's just visually appealing all around. It provides material grouped by entry in the Jane Austen canon, so we have Pride & Prejudice puzzles, Emma puzzles, etc.Sounds great, doesn't it? So why do I rate it 3 stars? Well, whether you like this book or not depends on what you're looking for. If you just want a nice-looking, pleasant to hold and peruse book in the Jane Austen collateral material vein, it's great. If you're looking for Jane Austen related puzzles, and you have any sort of background in the puzzle world, you might be disappointed. I was. Quite disappointed, in fact. The reason is that the puzzles are nothing new, and for the most part not really Jane Austen puzzles. For instance there are logic puzzles. Think about the classic Smith-Jones-Robinson puzzle but substitute Elizabeth-Darcy-Wickham (not an actual book example but the content is similar). There's nothing in the actual puzzle itself that has to do with Jane, just the names and the write-up allude to P&P.Nearly all of the other puzzles are similar: they come from a well-established puzzle genre and simply cast them into an Austenesque theme. Sort of a veneer and not what I was expecting.I'm sticking with 3 stars, but I'm also going to say that you may not care about whether the puzzles are fresh and you might just enjoy going through them and enjoying the Austen allusions. So, as I said above, it depends what you're looking for.

If you’re looking for Pride and Prejudice puzzles, look elsewhere.
Fun puzzles geared towards all of Jane Austen’s novels, without emphasis on Pride and Prejudice as the title suggests. I found this very misleading. Additionally, the word searches use an odd spacing that I found distracting to the puzzle and I am disappointed that there are no crosswords. Each section of the book is dedicated to one novel and at least one quarter of the book is filled with puzzle solutions.

Novel Fun for an Austen Addict
Offered the Austen fan a variety of puzzles—visual, word, logic, riddles, searches, puns, etc.—about each novel. I found, however, that the format, though varied, was repetitive. The activities for each book were too similar. Characters’ names changed, but not enough to feel as though the challenge was different. Overall fun, but soon rather predictable.

It's Like Tea to a Hardcore Austen Fan
Talk about addicting. I loooovvvve this puzzle book! It is so unique and so cool to find a whole book dedicated to testing and bending the mind to see how much a Jane Austen fan knows her stuff. I have an MA in English Literature and surprisingly (and refreshingly) this book often stumped me. That's ok though because it just means I have an excuse to study that much more about my favorite author and her novels.

Super Fun!!
This book was super fun! I loved how they had all different types of puzzles and they all were somehow tied in with one of Jane Austen's books. Whether you are a fan of Austen, Puzzles or both, I definitely recommend this!!
