Unless you put this thing directly over your butthole and fart into it, then no, I doubt it works for farts. **Q: How well does this filter work compared to a smoke buddy?** A: I used to have the mega size smoke buddy. Nicotine, cannabinoids etc** A: It's a HEPA filter, so yes, there is scientific proof that it eliminates the stated % down to .03um size of particulates; so anything at all, down to those microns, will be stopped, to that % of accuracy. HEPA is medical-grade; it's in CDC filters. It's stops viruses, which are way smaller than cannabinoids. It should stop any exhaled particulates, if installed correctly.
