My previous Rockland 22" duffel bags were purchased elsewhere in 2015. The bag was carried on and fit in the overhead bin of the plane perfectly. I like to travel with Delta and use them as our carry-on with no issues. I did check it a few times due to the amount of luggage I had, and it held up to the flight with no problem. It’s a durable bag. I do like the two front pockets on it too because you can put extra stuff in it like you’re charging cords, earphones, and things you want to get too quickly. I can pack enough clothes, toiletries, a swimsuit, and flip-flops for a seven-day trip in the bag. I have larger suitcases, but for the price of checking bags ($35.00), purchasing this one made my trip easy by not needing to check a bag. The wheels are strong and held up well. IF you are trying to run, your bag may wobble unless it is complete and balanced. I also looked at many different bags like this, but many of them didn’t have the shoulder strap I like. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry to get a flight, I just put it over my shoulders like a duffel bag, and I can move faster. Then there are two strong handles so you can carry it upright, the same way a shoulder stat would. I think 10 years is a long time for a piece of luggage to last if you use it a lot. It handles that weight just fine. **Q: Will this collapse down when empty?** A: It collapses flat **Q: Can a 32" flatscreen tv fit in it?** A: With dimensions 40.00" x 17.00" x 16.00", the 40" is measured from side pocket to side pocket. So putting a 32" flat screen would not be advisable. **Q: How durable is the bottom surface? I've had a similar bag crack on me from throwing around.** A: The bottom and frame are durable. I bought two of the Rockland 22" bags to haul our segway minipro's. Each weighs in at slightly under 30 pounds. We need the bags or our segways when we travel: train, auto, ship. The bags have held up without a hiccup. I bought several other bags for our before the Roclands. All failed. The wheels on the previous two bags collapsed within 100 feet from our car on our way to the train station. Then the 19" duffel bag and finally this 22 inch rolling duffel. I think I like this the best! It's nice and big with plenty of pockets. The handle can be hidden away or pulled up and locked if you want to roll it. I don't usually roll my duffels. I have the hubby haul my stuff out to the car . We are big road trippers and I over pack like crazy. This duffel will definitely fit what I need for a few days or more along with the bag that came with the luggage or the smaller duffel. Who knows, maybe I will pack all the pieces! The material is rip stop but doesn't seem super heavy duty and could possibly tear if it comes in contact with something very sharp. I had no trouble with the wheels when I tried the duffel with some stuff in it to see how they would work. The zippers all work fine and I like the spacious interior. This isn't the best quality but it is affordable, cute, and will do the job for me for sure. If I have any issues after next moth when I journey to the mountains with this piece (and others), I will update and rerate. Right now, I am going with 4 stars because I haven't had enough experience to say how sturdy it really is and how long it will last.
