Best chair I ever owned.
First off, this is an ACTUAL review, not bribed out of me. Im only placing it because Im so happy with my new chair that I dont want anyone to hesitate because theyre not actually able to sit in it. Im telling you its super-plush and the fabric is softer than lamb skin. It rocks effortlessly and silently. It reclines with barely a flip of the handle, and reclines almost flat, which is important because I sleep in it as well. Im a medium sized man(5'9" - 170lbs), and I have plenty of room for extra pillows at night, so any fairly big person should have plenty of room. Its not a power chair, and the only minor drawback is that you need lift the handle and apply leg pressure as well to pull in the footrest, which might be difficult for a small/elderly person. Still, even with that, this chair is my pride and joy...Five stars...Im gona have 'em bury me in it! :)

Feels like an $800 recliner! So soft its hard to leave it
Ordering furniture on the internet was something I would never do. Thanks Rona! I love this chair! It plush but firm enough. The fabric is so soft! The foot pad part doesnt have an unpadded hard part that hurts like my old one did and I didnt realize that until I got thisone. I do wish it went completely flat but after research I dont think many go flat anyway. Also, if I want to be flat that bad I get my butt out of my chair and go to bed. This chair is so comfy it is hard to leave though. The back cushion is very plush and has deep ....gaps for lack of a better word? I find it cozy but if you are a slob or have rodents or something, this chair would give all that a deep place to hide. When vacuuming it once a month or so be sure to use a crevice tool and really get in there! I also will say I added felt to the bottom legs cuz it was scratching the hardwood floor up. I do not regret my purchase!!! Feels like an $800 recliner!

After waiting over 4 months: First chair is good, second was NOT what I ordered. Buyer beware...
In all of my 37 years I have never had a purchasing experience as terrible as this. Ordered two of the desert models on November 10th. November 29th the order was canceled on the day before the chairs were supposed to arrive. I was told something like there was “a mix up” and the chairs were never shipped, even though no one bothered to tell me this until the last possible moment. They were intended to be Christmas presents, but I tried ordering again, hoping they still might make it in time. Since the desert model was out of stock, I ordered the sand model. Around the 20th of January, this order was canceled too. I was told they were out of stock and they didn’t know if any more would come back in. I found this ironic since I had been watching them come in and out of stock for months now…Placed the third order for two more sand models on January 23rd. The first chair was delivered on February 19th. I was impressed with the quality. It arrived in a heavy duty cardboard box and was wrapped in plastic. It was a breeze to assemble, felt very sturdy, and it sat pretty comfortably. The fabric was also very soft to the touch, and the rocker/recliner functions operated smoothly.Today, March 18th, I received the second chair from this order. To say that I am now a pissed customer is an understatement… To start with, the chair was brought to my home WITHOUT A BOX or ANY type of protective covering during a downpour. I was there to take it in immediately, but it was already soaking wet.Closer inspection revealed a very noticeable three inch cut half way up the left side of the front of the chair. Another smaller hole about the size of a dime can be found on the back of the chair. This isn’t the worst of it though… The chair I received is NOT any of the models being sold on this page.It is not sand like the previous model I received. It looks like some kind of weird cross between a sand and a camel. It isn’t even the same type of covering in terms of material. The real sand model has a plush feel when you run your hand over it, this one feels like some kind of weird cloth and leather hybrid. According to the tag, it is made by Lane, but there is no model information to be found. The overall heights are relatively the same, but the seat and armrests are about three inches lower on this one. Most importantly, it is nowhere near as sturdy and heavy as the legit sand model I received last month. These chairs are supposed to be capable of holding 500 lbs according to the description on this page. However, my 290 lb frame seems to already be stressing this chair, and I only sat in it a few moments to test it out. For a heavy person, I think it’ll be lucky if it lasts a year, if that.I can also feel a big difference comfort wise. The first chair felt more or less smooth to sit in, no hard spots or pressure points. This one feels like there are two gigantic hard lumps constantly pressing into my rear end and middle back.Rather than cancelling my order for a third time, or making up more excuses at the last minute, I sincerely believe someone just decided to ship a different model altogether and hope I didn’t notice. I suppose I am stuck with it as the recipient needed it asap, and trying to ship it back would likely be very expensive. Not to mention the fact I’d probably have to wait another month or so for a replacement to arrive.Overall, IF you actually get what you order, these are pretty good chairs. They’re reasonably comfortable and seem pretty durable. But, given all I have experienced, I can't recommend these to anyone.

Great Recliner!
This chair was purchased as a place for me to sleep with my head elevated. It has proven to be all I hoped it would be. The chair is roomy and super-comfy. I'm very happy with it.

The price was good but not the quality
Within 6 months the one arm on the chair became weak and wobbley. The chair is in the home of a single person 66 years of age so there is no horse-play and reason for this to have happened. Now, I do not know who to call to resolve a problem. The delivery set up and lack of communication too was a night mare. There was no reason for the long delays when the tracking showed the chair was right in the town where it was to be delivered and it was just sitting!!! I trusted LANE brand, and it has proved to be a mistake. Maybe the higher end products that cost so much more are wort it, but not this one---I think I got the clearance price.

Arrived broken, impossible to use and uncomfortable...sad
This is the worst Lane product I've ever received. First, the fabric is so abrasive, barb wire would be more comfortable to relax on. The arm that moves the foot up and down has issues. Raising the foot with the lever/handle is easy enough, but it's nearly impossible to use the lever/handle to put to the chair foot down, either sitting in the chair or standing next to it. But, the most important issue is that I had to call a Recliner Repair technician before I ever sat in the chair. As I was getting ready to insert the chair back in the set section, I noticed that the wood cross bar wasn't connected to one side of the chair back. Unhappy.

Good chair for Dad
Probably the best deal Ive ever gotten on Amazon. Chair is a full size recliner. None of that smaller in person stuff. Very comparable to ones between $400-500 in stores.
