These must run very small! Thankfully I read the other reviewer who said she was a size 8 and got an XL because I am also an 8 and they fit perfectly in the waist. A bit loose in the front stomach panel which is why I gave only 4 stars. It would be nice if they were tighter all over and not just in the waist. Sadly I have a pretty flat butt so nothing is showing in the back but if you have a bigger caboose than you will definitely be hanging out back there. They are a lot of fun to wear and happy to have them in time for Lizzo concert!

I had to return based on sizing but here's what I would like to point out.I am a size 8 and I ordered an XL. They were skin tight and I could barely get the zipper all the way up. The zipper also doesn't have a hook & eye or button on top, so I would be concerned about it sliding down.The fringe would have been cute if I had a steamer, but it was all wrinkled from how it was packed so it kinda puffed out in different directions.Otherwise they were pretty cute. I just wish it was a little truer to size.

Cute shorts! I love them. I don't remember what size I bought.. I think Medium. But I'm a size 6 or 7 in jean shorts, and a Medium in athletic shorts and they fit really well. Not too loose or too tight. The only problem I have with my shorts is the zipper. It is a side zipper and always gets stuck on the last inch of the track. I wore these shorts to a music festival and it was kind of a pain trying to zip up my shorts without risking breaking my zipper! I had to have my boyfriend help me zip them every time!

These shorts are awesome! Super cute and fun to dance in. Only problem is the zipper, it keeps getting stuck a bit from the top. I have to get help from someone every time to zip it all the way, otherwise it might break. I might sew velcro or a snap in to help.

There's no way this is a 2x... but in saying that I didn't return it because i'm in the middle of a weight loss journey.Great goal pants!

The media could not be loaded.  I normally wear 5/6 size pants. I’m 5’6 140 lbs and I bought a M and it fit perfect. I love these shorts and got lots of complements! I can see having issues with the zipper, but it’s bad.

Pretty cute and fun. Dislike - how long the tassels are across the front, I’ll probably cut them to look more like the advertisement photo. Like - comfortable material, decent length from end of shorts to waist.

I was really surprised that the quality of these shorts is so nice. They are very well constructed and appear to be more expensive than they are. They are made with a medium weight micro suede stretch fabric with a hidden side zipper. I am a size 0 in misses sizes with a 27" waist and 36" hips. I ordered size small which fits perfectly, and because they are stretchy, they are super comfortable. Because of the stretch, these could fit someone with a slightly larger waist size. The only thing that could make these better for me is if they were not so high waisted because I have a short torso, otherwise they are perfect. These are hand wash and hang dry only. I think they will last a long time with proper care.
