My French Horn came with an economy mouthpiece which was okay. The Holten mouthpiece is more comfortable and allows greater ease at hitting the higher notes. Quality product with an improved aesthetic appearance.

This is a heavy duty mouthpiece and was suggested by my daughters band director. It didn’t make her sound better but that is “operator error”. Can put lipstick on a pig but doesn’t make them a supermodel. I’m sure the product is fabulous!!

Perfect all purpose mouthpiece. I grew up playing one of these in the 90’s, and just finally bought a horn and immediately ordered. If you have a student learning, do them a favor and order one.

The mouthpiece was provided quickly and was exactly what I ordered. I have 3 Farkas mouthpieces - this MC, a MDC and an SC. For my embouchure the SC provides the best responsiveness. The MC is close to the Farkas mouthpiece that came with the Holton Farkas model provided to me in 1964.

It’s a good mouthpiece for a high school student and is really easy to play. It’s a really good upgrade from your B-Stock mouthpiece that comes with your instrument.
