THALASSA RV 12 Volt Reading Lights with USB Port, Frosted Glass with polishing housing Interior Lights, Aluminum with Sliver Finish

This is a nice light, and looks great too. It has a small footprint and I had to buy the additional mounting plates to adequately cover existing holes. The USB port works fine for charging my phone. This light is plenty bright enough for nighttime reading. I do wish that it had a greater dimming range. The brightest setting is fine, but I wish it could get even dimmer at the low end. One question that I asked about this light before I bought it (which went unanswered) was about the current draw when on standby. The control is touch sensitive and so obviously used some current even when "off" so that it can sense when you touch it. When boondocking in my trailer, power consumption can be critical and so I wanted to be sure there wasn't much when on standby. No one knew the answer, so I measured it myself after receiving the light. Here are the results: standby current: 8.0ma (0.102 watts at 12.7v). Nightlight (blue light) current: 16.4ma (0.208 watts at 12.7v). Light at full brightness: 158ma (2.007 watts at 12.7v). I know the description says these are 3 watt lamps. I measured less, which is fine for me. The less the better. Also, the 8ma standby current is negligible, so I'm a happy camper (literally).

So far I have no complaints with these lights. The dimmer is awesome and the light is brighter than you would think. I have these in my Baja motor yacht. They really look classy. I like the blue night light which is a plus it also turns completely off if not want it being it's on a boat. I got the one with the UBS charger port port. What's being on the boat is another plus. Everything work s the way they said it did. I am extremely satisfied 👍👍👍👍👍

these lights work great! Dimmer works great which is a huge complaint on so many lights I read reviews on. and the light it produces is really nice! I'm going to order another 2 soon! And they also turn on and off from a wall switch. The USB port is awesome for recharging your phone overnight. Highly recommend!

Replaced lights over bed in our motor home and they work great to read but can be dimmed as well.

These are great. I’m using them to replace some gold colored incandescent reading lights in my new-to-me boat which has no accommodation for USB charging. Not wanting to overdraw the circuits on my boat, I did an experiment. Using a 12V power supply and digital multimeter I measured the current draw at full brightness and charging my iPhone 11 to be 690 mA (without charging it was only 187 mA). The existing lights were a dim 10 W (drawing 833 mA) so I’m thrilled with the upgrade!

Nice quality. Easy to install. USB port a plus for sure! I live off grid in a foreign country and this little light was a great find for my home.
