Well built but shallow. NOT for Gibson L.P.
This is a nicely built case.It is the most shallow Les Paul case I have ever seen. The tip of the head stock with a greater than 14 degree angle will rest on the floor of the case, lifting the whole neck off its support. If you have a Gibson or a Chibson with a 17 degree head stock angle, **this case will not work**.If your guitar has a head stock angle of 14 degrees or less, you should be good to go and the case will protect your instrument well.Gibson head stocks are at a 17 degree angle. Epiphone head stocks are at 14 degrees. Other clones and copies range from 17 degrees on down to 10 or 11 degrees. I tried various guitars with various head stock angles in this case. It did not fit the guitar I intended for it. So I had to return it.KNOW YOUR HEAD STOCK ANGLE BEFORE BUYING ANY LP STYLE CASE.

Surprisingly sturdy well built case
Unbelievable quality and attention to detail. The only thing budget about this case is the price....this is a serious case that should please anyone that want to protect their guitar.

It’s crap.
Usually when I put my guitar in the case I like the strap to fit in there with it. This thing has about six redundant latches on it...so it’s difficult to open. There’s barely room for the guitar...and trying to modify it to hold the strap with it gave me insight into the construction. It’s crap.

Fits Epiphone Les Paul Special II like a glove
I purchased this for my new Epiphone Les Paul Special II, It's as snug as a bug in a rug. Does not rest on the head-stock. Great case for the money, should hold up in most situations. The hardware (hinges, latches) are a little on the cheap side. I wouldn't send this case through an airline baggage system. I think I may replace the strap that prevents the case from opening too far. The material makes me a little nervous, I don't want any scratching or rubbing on the body of the guitar. Overall I'm happy and I feel I got a good deal for the price.
