LOVE!
LOVE these! My chickens could never figure out the other cups they have to push down and hold for water. They always ran out of water and I had to keep their little chick waterer in their pen and they always knocked it over. I also had to refill it twive a day. These refill on their own with the float. My chickens always have water now and we are all very happy with this!

Product didn't really work.
When I installed the product the float didn't hang to the bottom of the cup, so it wouldn't dispense water. I could manually press the float further down and water would ever so slowly drip into the cup. When the lever arm would actuate correctly it wouldn't lift the stainless steel plunger high enough to fully clear the taper and allow a good flow of water to pass.I modified one of the floats with a small weight such that it would hang and touch the bottom of the cup when it was empty. Then I modified the lever arm of the float with a brass nail so it would raise the stainless steel plunger higher in hopes that it would flow more water. Unfortunately, this didn't cause more water to flow. The float would lift the plunger such that it was well clear of the taper that seals the valve, but it seems as though perhaps the surface tension of the water was too great to allow any significant amount of water to pass through the very small crack created.Without modification, my chickens would have to peck this no-peck waterer and then hold their beak on it for an extended period of time. Something a chicken probably doesn't have the patience for. After modification, this product would perhaps supply a very limited amount of water. Say, one drip every 2-3 seconds (who knows if this would continue after extended use when it gets dirty or has hard water or whatever), which I suppose would eventually fill the cup a bit and allow the chicken to drink as expected.I live in a very hot environment; I felt that with the number of additional water cups I would have to install to provide a safety backup should one or more quit working, plus the effort involved with modifying them to hang properly, that I would be better off continuing to use a bucket on the ground that I fill with a hose.

“NO PECK” Float Activated Chicken Watering Cups
Replacing a previous generation of these, perhaps from a different company. These are a much improved design, they work against a float design rather than a spring design which tends to get clogged with things which get caught in the bowl as chickens and ducks drink. Easy install and has been maintenance free since purchase, simply spray cleaning with water from time to time. Would buy again.

Work great, should have gone to these years ago.
Make sure you use a dark bucket, preferably black, so light does not go through and grow algae. I have ducks and chickens together, and the chickens don't like getting to close to the pond as they fall in sometimes, but keeping any kind of water dish is impossible with ducks around. These are perfect. made much better than the "other kind".

Works Ok, but would prefer something with better quality even at a higher price
They mostly work, unlike the pecking kind. Nevertheless, I had to tweak the installation a couple of times and could not get them to stop leaking until i used lots of silicone sealer. They also do not produce a consistent pool of water, and sometimes they get stuck.

These work well
I mounted these onto a five gallon bucket and they work well. Cleaner water for the chickens and they aren't walking through their water. They seem to drink more water though........good product, easy to clean. Highly recommended.!

Great Idea
These can be used with a pipe or 5 gal bucket. Great idea, well made, but a little pricey. Keeps the chickens watered!

Easy to install and use
So glad I got these. I no longer have to worry about the chickies pooping in their water bucket and they get plenty of water.
