**Q: does the wire detach from the bottom of each earpiece, or permanently affixed?**
A: The cablea are detachable, but not at the bottom of the ear cups.  Please call (314) 753-9246 and ask for Steve for clarification.

**Q: What is the best headphones for extreme bass that won't distort**
A: The EX29 Plus is the best headphone for this purpose.

**Q: How long is the headphone cord?**
A: Don't bother. The old version was AWESOME. I still have them 20+ years later. I bought these because I LOVE the original ones and wanted a second pair for my home studio. I'm a drummer. These DO NOT sound half as good and the cord separation is just stupid. They come of the ear cups and join at about 1 foot. At that point there is a connector to attach the included cord, which I believe is 6 foot.

**Q: These have a slightly different look than those on the direct sound website. are these 100% manufactured by direct sound, or are they built elsewhere?**
A: Hi Amy.  The photo shown is a white older version of the EX29 Plus, presumably manufactured by Direct Sound.  Direct Sound's new website was just launched on Friday June 3, 2022.  The recent changes includes a different headband style and updated printing on the ear cup.
