Wow, it’s really solid. It doesn’t shake at all. It’s very solid when it’s fixed on the ground. I started to fall in love with this stand. OMG!

Design is flawed. Phone cannot be connected to the osmo pocket while using this stand. I want to return this product!

This is a solid piece. Metal. Aside from the very secure slot that holds pocket. You could use this for self defense.
