Elite Gold is a great homeowners golden pineapple. The plant is very easy to grow and looks great in perennial landscapes under banana trees. The pineapple may produce a small pineapple after the first year it is planted and will continue in size as the plant matures. The plant will send out new stocks which will create more pineapples per plant. Elite Gold has an excellent taste that is sweet and non-acidic. Wait until your pineapple is golden on the outside and you will experience one of the best tasting golden pineapples.

- Includes Four "Elite Gold" Pineapple Plants. These are 2 inch starter plants that are shipped in 2 inch pots and are 1-4 inches tall.
- Elite Gold is a great homeowners golden pineapple. The plant is very easy to grow and looks great in perennial landscapes under banana trees.
- Most all edible plants grow well in Full Sun, a little shade won’t hurt. For these starter plants I recommend growing in a pot to establish a greater root system then to re-pot or plant.
- I recommend starting your plants in a four inch pot using a product like Fox Farm Happy Frog where the fertilizer and soil beneficials are already mixed in.

Teenie tiny seedlings in the world’s smallest plugs that looked fine when they arrived. Within a week two died. Two weeks later, a third died. It’s now almost 2 months after arrival and they last one is still alive but has not grown at all. Huge waste of money. I was so upset when they third one died I bought four pineapples from the store just to get the tops. All four have now rooted and are growing better than the one remaining starter.
