CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Season 10

Each dvd is fine. If you like CSI it's for you. Bought this to help complete my set. Looking forward to the other seasons.It's true, the packaging is not like the original. The disc's are just grey. This doesn't matter to me. It goes into the player and you don't see the grey. Each front of the box tells you what season at least.If you don't like the packaging, use the single disc holders.But each show is listed. Happy I bought this season.

Everything I said about Season 11 should have been said about this season, 10. More great cases with a pitch perfect cast playing richly diverse characters. Laurence Fishburne is imposing and meek at the same time. A great balancing act for any actor and I have never seen it done better. Or at all, now that I think of it. This is a land mark series that rivals few in length and consistent quality. One can't stop in the middle or just drop off at the end of any given season. As long as they keep going, I'll keep watching. And revisiting every few years. That's why we buy them isn't it?

This set is worth the extra money. It has more episodes than the other sets. But be warned two of the episodes are (1) CSI Miami and (2) CSI NY. If you are a CSI Las Vegas purist like me, you might like to know about this.In disc 3, episode #3, Fishburn breaks the law by impounding a car without a warrant.In disc 4, episode #2, minute 27:18, Brass says he has a warrant to search a house but he never pulls out the warrant or shows it to anyone. This episode is very depressing. It is about a pact two people make to commit suicide together. Don't watch this episode unless you want to get depressed.Disc 4, episode #4 - good episode for golfers. Try to figure out why they said this at the end: "Don't drive angry!"Disc 5, episode #1, "Internal combustion". At about minute 7:40, Sarah Siedel says to a H.S. student, "I am going to need to get in there" [i.e. to look inside your locker]. She presents no search warrant and does not explain why she needs to look inside the locker. This is the kind of thing you can expect from dishonest cops. Beware. The H.S. student is so clueless she lets Sarah Siedel abuse her Fourth Amendment rights. Minute 32 - question - Can the police impound your car just because the width of your tires and the paint color of that car matches that of a car in a crime scene?I'll leave more comments as I watch the rest of the episodes later.P.S. I started watching the Las Vegas CSI shortly after finishing all the CSI NY DVDs (9). I thought NY was fantastic, and Gary Siniseespecially good, surrounded with a great cast. Being a NY resident may make me a little bias since I did work for the city. But Ifind the Las Vegas version very good though not quite up to the NY standards. I think the show really misses Grissom; Willows isok but somewhat of a sourpuss and lacks the charisma or leadership persona of Grissom. She does seem to be a bit more likeablein this season, perhaps because she has a good boyfriend now. I even saw her smile a couple of times. The rest of the cast is justfine with Sarah returning (Mrs Grissom now) though I hope Grissom will make a tolken appearance. There are so many good storiesin this season I won't talk much about them; But the final episode must be seen along with the 1st episode in season 11. Some fineaction, growing mush (I like) with some of the cast and of course great photography and background music (important to me). Ifyou are a CSI fan and enjoy stories about forensic investigations, you will love these series. I have the first 13 seasons on DVDbut won't get the 14th until the price comes down. I am reviewing both the 10th and 11th Seasons of CSI.  CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The Tenth SeasonCSI: Crime Scene Investigation - The 11th Season I find the long time actors on this show have been allowed to go nuts. It comes out clearly in their performances. I have to say that I am enjoying their nuttiness. I have had some good laughs.No one can replace Grissom. No one can ever replace the actor who helped make the show what it is. I do hope that Grissom will do some guest appearances.Fishburne has his own style and that is a good thing. I have and continue to enjoy CSI.I understand that this show is dependent on violence to showcase the methods used to catch criminals, but I would really like to see some positive episodes. The constant violence gets to be very depressing considering that I see too much of the negative in the people around me.Will definitely purchase the DVD's as long as the show continues.

I think the fishburn shows brings a new energy to the show. Grissom started to wear me out.

Have always loved this show. I bough all the seasons and will have a nice CSI marathon real soon. I missed Gil a lot but Danson filled in well. I never did understand Fishburne's character and how it added to the mix. He's awesome but it felt that his part never fleshed out. The stories always were fascinating even after so many years. I think it ended appropriately. Just buy it, sit down for the long haul, and enjoy.

I love the CSI series. I prefer Grissom. Since I have been watching this season, I am getting used to Dr. Ray (Fishburne). I just love the different situations they get into. CSI NY is my next favorite with CSI Miami in last place. You get a sample of these other shows in one of the discs in this season.

I like CSI with Petersen and Fishburne. The rating is not about the content, but about the DVDs.The set comes as advertised and holds all episodes. The specials are rather good.But I had reading errors on almost every disc, which I have never experienced on other DVDs with my good quality Blu-ray player.Also, the discs are rather limited labeled. For Season 7 e.g., there are two discs one, two and three, the season is not printed on the DVDs. Do not forget to put them in the correct spot after watching.Furthermore, it takes 90 to 120 Seconds before you can watch each DVD, because the CBS animation and legal statements take so long. One season even has car advertising.So basically, these DVDs are made without much consideration of the customer and are a perfect example, why it is so much more convenient to watch Netflix with instant start.

Another great season to collect.I was a little concerned when Grissom left, but Ray Langston has proved to be a great replacement. Characters like Gregg and Nick have been allowed to fill out a little more as well as the guys in the Lab.At this ridiculous price for approx 20 hours of great viewing you HAVE to buy this. It is even delivered direct to your door in immaculate condition in just two short days!BUY THIS NOW!!!!!

fantastic any csi fan would love these got the complete boxset now, Will watch em over and over and over again lol

Shame when Warwick died and Gil left but got better towards the end once Lawrence fishburns character found his feet

Was a bit dubious about Laurence Fishburne initially but thought he was great and wish he'd stayed longer. Another great CSI production.
