LANOVAGEAR Kids Adjustable Protective Gear Set, Knee and Elbow Pads with Wrist Guards for Multi-sports Outdoor Activities: Bike Cycling Bicycle Riding Rollerblading Skating SkateboardingWhen I was younger, we just used to hop on our roller skates or pogo stick and off we'd go. Injuries seemed few and far between. However, these days kids seem to all be wearing knee and wrist pads, as well as helmets. Certainly my two nephews (9 and 10) aren't allowed out by their parents without this protection. This is the second set we've had, the first having become somewhat tattered from use, and it compares favourably. There are all the usual protective and adjustable features combined with stylish good looks - most sets are plain black and somewhat clunky-looking, whereas this set is an attractive blue. The one niggle is that, compared to the previous set, it doesn't come in a drawstring bag so you'll need to supply your own (or some other container) to keep the set together. For sale at the time of writing this review at £14.99.

Comfortable, Protective And Cool Enough For Your Kids
It depends on the physical size of your child of course, but this set of protective pads ought to be suitable for 4-10 year olds, on average. The set contains knee and elbow pads, plus a set of wrist protectors, to keep your child safe when skate boarding, learning to cycle, or any other rough and tumble activity. You'll also need a helmet of course, but protecting the joints from damage is important.Back when I grew up, this kind of gear was unheard of, and I went around with permanent scabs on my knees from crashing into the ground, bollards, lamp posts and other kids. It toughened me up in some respects, but it also left me with joint damage that I've carried ever since. Given the choice I'd prefer healthy joints and greater mobility in later life! So, this set of pads is a good investment in your child's future. It looks cool enough for your kids to be willing to actually wear it, and it comes in a mesh bag that keeps it all together. The feedback received is that it's comfortable to wear, and the velcro adjustment keeps it in place well.

Good comfy pads, storage bag, not hideous looking!
This is a set of elbow, knee and wrist guards that are suitable for kids doing a variety of sports. I got these for my nephew along with a beginners skateboard. I think his mother would not have been happy with a skateboard without pads! The pads come in a drawstring bag to keep them together (nice touch). The elbow and knee pads have a thick layer of foam and a sleeve to keep the straps away from skin. All the pads have a moulded plastic external plate. These are fairly comfy to wear (im told) and the nervous nephew was grateful for the protection. I honestly think he'd have worn a bubblewrap suit if id have got him one! But he did have a go, baby steps but im not going to push him, hes naturally anxious.Id recommend these pads to any kid that needs them!

Good looking protection
This set is quite cool looking and easy to put on, and combine spongy black padding covered in blue mesh with a tough white hard plastic shell, with a couple of iridescent holographic inlays. I guess everyone looks cool wearing body armour, but this is certainly fetching. It comes in a mesh bag so the six bits don't wander off and get separated. My only slight gripe is that there are no instructions - you might think that's not necessary, but I only knew which way round the wrist guards go because we already had another similar set. The wrist guards are counter-intuitive: because they are convex they look like they should go on the backs of your hands. But no, these are to protect those dainty palms when you skid onto the tarmac.

Protective pad set for younger people
The set comprises knee pads, elbow pads, wrist pads. They are well constructed and fit snugly with velcro, making them easy to work with for a young person. The elbow protectors are made for the child to slip their hand into the pad, slide it up the arm and then secure with the velcro. The pads have toughened plastic outer casings, which are molded to the shape of the bones to be protected. The biggest problem I find is actually getting kids to wear these guards. I think young skateboarders might consider them childish. The parts all can be stored and carried around in a net bag with a pull closure. The idea is good but I have reservations about how keen the target market could be on using them. Recommended.

Well designed, look good and arrived fast
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These are alot better than our sons current safety gear. There are sleeves in both the knee and elbow pads to slot your arm or leg into aswell as the velcro straps to adjust to right size. They feel soft inside and the plastic shell seems very hard and durable. There is an attractive reflective silver part in the design, this seems to be like a vinyl material and is on the underside of the safety shell showing through rather than being attached. The netting encases a thickish foam padding and from what I can see the stitching looks good. My only concern about these is how durable the netting will be after taken some hard bangs and scrapes from falls. If they fail to survive or show signs of wear prematurely I will update my review. Overall they are well made, comfortable and hopefully there durability is lasting.

Comfortable protection
This set contains elbow, knee and wrist protection for a child. They fit well on my 7-year-old. The blue is unisex and so suitable for my daughter whilst roller-skating for the first time, and for my son. Can be a handful to get them all on - I needed to help her but she found them comfortable and they were easy to adjust with velcro straps. They can be worn in two ways, just the strap or with a sleeve over the chosen area too. They are of a good quality and good fabric. They come in a nice drawstring bag too for easy storage away. Price of £14.99 for the set is excellent too.
