ClearMax Multi-Purpose Portable Telescopic Garden Shower with Tripod Base

I ordered this after months of longing for an outdoor shower for the porch. This hooks up to the hose easily. Rather than using the tripod (very light weight, but also flimsy) I secured this to one of the porch posts near the hose with some twine. It stays in place nicely, and I can shower muddy/sandy/sticky children before they go in the house.This is just exactly what I expected - a cheap solution to a problem. I imagine you could replace the shower head with something more luxurious. The head is orange and black plastic, and looks like a garden sprayer, so if you wanted something more sophisticated-looking, you could swap it out. I've had this item about a week - at this price, if it doesn't last forever, I can simply replace it. So far, so good! It's highly portable, so I can move it to the yard to water the plants or let the children play in it.

I was a little skeptical about ordering this but wanted an outdoor shower. It is not very sturdy but for the price I cannot expect more. I pushed the middle post into the ground as well as the back leg. When I turned it on, the shower head pushed back and flexed the main pole about 4 inches back. To resolve this I tied a bamboo pole to the top and stuck it into the ground behind the shower. The first time I used it I was surprised at how well it worked. The shower spray is awesome! I could not see any leaks anywhere but I did hand tighten all connections before I connected the hose. This will not last too long, especially out in the weather. If it broke today I would buy another without hesitation. I might try to store it indoors until needed although that will be slightly inconvenient.

This product is very light but that is what I wanted to bring in my camper van. It extends nicely and I'm looking forward to try it next summer. I hope the plastic is solid and will last for a while. I would not use it as a. Permanent outdoor shower but it would do the trick otherwise.

The other reviews are right: this is not at all sturdy. Between the hose knocking it over or the wind, it keeps falling down. Probably best to get a nicer product, but this was just a cheap toy for occasional use. The tripod part is completely useless and poorly designed. A single sturdy pole to put into the ground would have been better.

This looked great but we were disappointed. The weight of a hose pulls it over. Even after jamming the center rod into the ground it just doesn't hold up well at all. We're out of options and using it anyway but have to tie it to a tree so it won't topple. Plus it's leaky... not a great product.

The first one I purchase was broken right out of the box, I ordered another one and it did work but I bought it for my grandsons pool party, which was over by the time the second one arrived, other than that it was alright for them to play in during the summer

This shower stand works well in an open space, but the base takes up to much space when set up in a shower tent. It would be great if it had an alternate stand or base for inside shower tent use.

Nice adjustable shower works great for any height very tall setting and adjusts low for kids or women to not get hair wet. .I actually use for a pre rinse before getting in Jacuzzi make people shower off before getting in keeps Jacuzzi cleaner.I use a small pump in Jacuzzi and hook up with hose so we take warm showers with preheated water.Also works great in summer and all year round to take a post beach rinse so keeps sand out of Jacuzzi.
