Good quality
I've tried quite a few brands of matcha, and this is the one I keep coming back to. It's good quality, a vibrant green, and looks and tastes very fresh. It's fine and smooth, so easy to whisk in. I've tried the plain and mint matcha, and both are very good. The glass jar makes the matcha easy to store and use. Just make sure you keep it in a dark cupboard so the light can't get to it.

Great matcha
Good matcha grade product. Tastes great! I have noticed since moving product to amazon from their website that there is less in the jar and it costs more though which is unfortunate.

Awesome and delicious
Prior to the Covid 19 lockdown in the uk my friend and I would go to the local coffee shop. I would drink golden milk (a turmeric latte) and my friend a match latte. After 5 weeks of lockdown I got a pang for the golden milk, started making my own and then wondered if I could make my own matcha latte too. After doing some research I opted for this, said was ceremonial, was tested for lead, was from Japan, was a nice bright green colour, was in my price bracket and to be fair I like the branding. When it arrived I remembered that I don’t drink caffeine usually so saved my first latte for the morning. I mixed 1 tsp with half a cup of almond milk, a little vanilla and a little maple syrup, whisked and topped up with warm, not boiling water and boy was it tasty. Smooth and not grainy at all, I drank every drop, no mess at the bottom of the cup. However be warned if you don’t drink caffeine, I could really tell that I’d had this. I wished that I was going for a run instead of sitting at my desk! On a video call I had to confess to my boss that I’d had it as I felt the caffeine rush lol. On reflection, this seems a great quality product that I will only be having once a day, first thing in the morning! I’ll let you all know if I get to sleep tonight. May adjust to half a tsp, but did like the taste of 1 tsp

DELICIOUS and great quality! Such a beautiful blend.
This was my first time trying powder matcha green tea and it was AMAZING! I really struggled looking for a good seller ( I dont like to buy food online or anything you consume ) and I thought i’d give this one a go as it had many good reviews. The taste is beautiful, it tastes like extra smooth green tea you have the slight bitter taste you normaly would but then theres a little natural sweetness which just makes it so perfect. I personally drink it with no sugar or milk just on its own and it is slighly hard to dilute especially if you don’t have a matcha tea kit but its possible to make it without. Also as ive said I don’t know an awful lot about making matcha so it could simply just be my mistake in the way I make it? I must say I was expecting the jar to be a bit larger but I am aware that ceremonial grade matcha is very pricey but for all the right reasons. Remember you pay for quality so to avoid disappointment I would highly advise people to do more research on matcha. I will attach a photo of my 50g jar just so people know the size. Im so so pleased with it and will definitely be buying again.

I’m in love with Matcha.
I am very sensitive to caffeine as it makes me jittery, anxious and gives me heart palpitations. Although I find it hard to gain the necessary energy that I require for 12 hour shifts, which lead me to matcha and I decided to try it.This matcha not only tastes great, but its effects had me in a state of calm alertness for hours, l love it. While I say it tastes great, it also did not taste as vegetal as it was meant to be, but I like that nonetheless. The EGCG in matcha, which is a powerful antioxidant, is superior to that of normal green tea due to the pulverisation and harvesting process of the leaf, which gives it over 137 times more anti oxidants than lower grade green tea which is good for the immune system, clearing the body of free radicals, preventing oxidative stress and also aiding in weight loss.Matcha is also full of L-theanine, which is an amino acid which is able to cross the blood brain barrier. It activates “alpha waves”, in the brain which activates a state of calmness without drowsiness. This makes it great for remaining focused in stressful situations as well as getting a good night sleep. Not only that, I can feel the water weight pour off me while I don’t get that ‘dehydrated’ feeling that I get from coffee and tea. It feels wonderful and I recommend it to anybody if they would like to remain focused, relaxed or want to aid in better sleep.Be aware, I was confused by the picture of this product and thought that the Matcha came with the utensils such as the bamboo whisk and measuring spoon, but it does not.The tub is made of glass and is 50grams. Originally I read the instructions wrong and was having 1/2 tablespoon of matcha instead of 1/2 teaspoon! Although despite the large volume I never got anxious or jittery like I do with coffee which is amazing. The only downside I can say for this tea is that it came packaged rather messy with the powder outside and around the lid and beneath the tub.Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Despite being sealed, the powder “leaked”
It is a quite expensive Matcha and Despite being sealed, the powder “leaked” all over inside the box which I feel made me loose expensive grams of the product.I’m yet to try it, and the fine powder might mean it’s good quality. However I can’t help but feel a bit tricked already. Perhaps Pure chimp wants to try a proper seal beneath the lid.

Good quality and taste!
I usually drink the Moi Cha Premium matcha but it has been sold out online so I thought I would try something else. I was a bit apprehensive as I had read soo many reviews for lots of different matcha brands and they were all very mixed so I had a hard time choosing. I finally decided to give this ago and I’m really glad I did. It has a lovely earthy taste while also being smooth. To be honestly I think if someone gave me both this pure chimp and my original Moi Cha I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. This is half the price I pay for Moi Cha and you get 20g more. I also like how Pure Chimp give 5% of their profits to charity, it is Japanese matcha, grown without pesticides and the packaging is recyclable. This is deffo my new fave matcha brand :)

Very good matcha but doesn't dissolve well
It tastes good and the color and smell is very rich! The problem is when you dissolve it initially it seems well combined but by the end of drinking it it all settles at the bottle

Very. Very. Good.
I've put tried 3 different brands. This has been the best. I drink it in the traditional form - matcha tea. frothy. nothing added except hot water. Lovely flavor and excellent consistency.

Beautiful Matcha with a hint of cinnamon
I've been hooked on the lemongrass version and when I had an opportunity to try cinnamon, I jumped on it. The Pure Chimp brand is the best and I have a 'bowl' of it every morning. I switch back and forth between the two flavors now- a perfect way to start my day with a boost!

Consigliatissimo
