Fantastic idea! And they work very well for sprint spikes and other running spikes. They do an excellent job of allowing your child to walk without doing that weird "balancing on my heels to keep from damaging my spikes" duck walk they all seem to do. Easy to slip on and off. Durable too..... However, these are NOT for throwing our jumping spikes or any spikes that have a heel spike(s) of any kind! they ONLY protect the front spikes. (That's why it only gets 4 stars. My child is a decathlete and you can't predict which spikes he will be wearing when he needs to run off the track for a minute) If they had a second option with the full sole coverage I'd have bought them out of all their stock!

They've worked out very well for my son's cross country spikes. Easy to put on and take off. Spikes do not penetrate the thick rubber sole. Prevents shin cramps that can happen when runner wearing spikes must walk on heels when treading a hard surface.I've been asked by dozens of track parents what they are and where to get them.My daughter has them in lime to match her shoes. My son's red match his shoes.

Shipment arrived quickly and product seems heavier duty than I expected. Since I just got them I can't say anything about durability but they seem like they will work as I had hoped. True to sizing.

Sturdy and practial. XL fits size 12 New Balance multi event track shoe. Worth it!!

My son wore these during track season and it saved his spikes. I thought they might be bulky on his shoes but they weren't at all and they are easy on/off...happy with the purchase.

Not nearly as durable as I had hoped - broke within a short period.
