KLI See Thru Shell Case Cover + Keyboard Skin - Champagne Gold - Rubberized for Macbook Air 13"

I ordered this for my wife who requested an item like this. I failed to take into account that this item totally obscures the MacBook keyboard backlight. It's fine during daylight hours, or n good light, but if you are working during those times and in those places where the keyboard backlight is helpful, you will not be happy. She ordered another similar device that is transparent/lucent, and is happy with it.

I really like the look of the case and keyboard skin, but have been unhappy with the quality of use. The first issue is that two of the clamps that secure the case cover on the computer have cracked within two weeks of putting it on. There is now jagged plastic securing the clamp. The second issue is that the keyboard skin does not sit as securely as I would like on the keyboard. The skin lifts and has gaps in places, particularly on the space bar. I would not recommend this product.

The case color and the keyboard cover are two different color golds. The case is more of a yellow gold, while the keyboard cover is pale, metallic gold. Also, it hasn't even been a month yet and most of the keys are fading...

It's a case, but not gold. I returned. The key cover is a very pretty shimmery gold, the case is more like a dull tan.

i love this cover and keypad although I've only had it for a month and am noticing the keypad is starting to discolour a bit.

Color is not as it is shown or described. I returned the item.
