This kit is comprised of the same intercooler used in the Radium Engineering turbocharger kits and can be used for custom built turbocharger systems. The Lotus 2ZZ-GE engine bay air flow comes from the driver and passenger side air ducts as well as underneath the vehicle and exits through the decklid of the Elise. The Radium intercooler kit redirects this natural flow using the included duct. This kit is shown in an Elise but will also work in Exige models as well. The hot side end tank uses a 2.25" inlet OD and features an integrated mounting boss with a universal 2-bolt "GReddy style" flange. Many different brands of blow off valves can be used with common available BOV adapters (not included). The cold side end tank uses a 2.75" outlet OD and features a 3/8" NPT, which is commonly used for an intake air temperature sensor. There is also a 1/8" NPT threaded port for sensors, methanol nozzles, fittings, etc. No modification to rear clamshell is required. Mounts to factory locations and does not require drilling or cutting. Not for vehicles equipped with a supercharger. Note: The intercooler requires the coolant expansion tank to be relocated.
