HUM AND HISS ( solution and findings below )
The media could not be loaded. Ok, so where do I start. Since this is a car specific device and this is for volvo this seems like a good spot.I have a volvo s60 2.5T 2006 with a HU-650 ( 2 knobs and a bunch of settings )The device works well, but I wired its source to the same 12v as the radio 12v source. ( this will probably cause a hum or a buz and it definitely did for me!! )Tomorrow I'll be moving 12v to the cig lighter/charger. You want to separate the power from the radio power, the little yellow wire is really small and there is a lot of current on that line already if you tap that..In the morning I'll try to use a different 12v source for the device and if that elemniates the hum and hiss I'll update everyone ( you should make a serious note of this for others somewhere in the description.)It's called a ground loop for those who don't know much about audio or anything. You can also filter the line in and filter the aux line as well with 3rd party devices which is what I'm sure most people went to because there is no documentation for that particular issue.I will update bellow with my findings and report back. I'm pretty sure it will be fixed after I swap the source 12v to anywhere else 😅Update:I moved the 12v source to the cig lighter and it removed 90% of the hum in the audio.I am now super satisfied with the product, before I moved the 12v line it was unbearable with how loud the hum and hiss was. It sounded like I was going break something. There is still a slight hum or hiss to get rid of though, I recomend a 12v 10amp in line audio noise filter for the yellow line.I'm pretty sure all the noise is because the yellow whip wire is too thin to carry the current for the devices and its just loaded to the max.So in conclusion, do not use the 12v wire out the back of the radio. It has to much load on it and it will hum bad and super loud.Use the 12v from the cig lighter ( look at my video!! ) this should fix it, if there is still some noise on the line add a filter and that will remove it enough to be basically be unnoticeable.Best 90$ upgrade I have spent for my 06 s60 tbh. she absolutely thumps nowRadio: HU650 ( 2 knob, w/ cd changer wire but no cd changer in the car )Also you may want to add a thicker wire or whip to the yellow wire as I did. Recomend solder joints as well.Tape off old CD changer cord so it dosnt knock anything or ground out.Update 3:Added a noise filter on the in line and that removed the noise. Just remember to look at the data sheet for your devices before installation. Also these filters on Amazon are cheap. Use a multimeter to check for a short in the wiring. I bought one and it had a dead short to ground and would of definitely caused an electrical issue. It's hard to find a good noise filter. Conclusion:adding a 12v noise filter to the 12v yellow in line will remove any audio distortion ( the hum, hiss, engine whine will be removed).Since this cable is 12v supply only ( no ground ) it's not a ground loop issue. Its a source voltage issue. ( the ground is shared )Chokes will not work ( although I did add 2 [ 12v wire and on the other device cable. ] ) did nothing, but I left them on it lol. What filter did I use ? A IBNF10 from Install bay. 8~ 10$I hope this helps people ^_^ <3

not working as it should.
Purchased on June 2023. Installed the device accordingly to the 2002 Volvo S60 HU803 head unit. It cannot read my music USB drive (it is 16GB drive as indicated in the instructions), music folder are arranged accordingly to instructions. Not only that, when I use the audio jack to connect an IPOD, it produces a bad background noise when music is not playing. I am quite disappointed. Basically it works as a naux input at best.

Bluetooth ready? Not Bluetooth.
After installing I realized it was not Bluetooth also. On the box it said Bluetooth ready so I took that to mean it was Bluetooth. It should not take much to switch it to Bluetooth. I ordered the adapter to plug into this adapter. As far as the sound quality it’s amazing the difference. I still highly recommend it being that most of today’s audio comes from your phone.

Just not sure about this one
I bought this to use in my 03 xc70 with the hu615 radio and well... It kind of works. The 3.5mm jack works perfectly everytime, and seems to sound really good, though there is a slight hiss when the volume is high with soft music playing.But.. I have tried numerous times to get music to play from a usb stick and it just does not work for me. The manual says to name folders cd01, cd02 etc, and then put music in the folders, I think up to 99 tracks, but it is never recognized by the device. I even tried with only 1 folder and named test songs 01, 02, 03 etc, still it is not recognized. I gave up on that...The manual mentioned buying a bluetooth module specific to the adapter, and even gave a part number(YT-BTM) but it is not currently available...I'm not sure if I can recommend this product since the main feature isn't working for me, but other people say it's working for them. It is quite a bit cheaper than the grom-audio unit, but maybe there's a reason for that.

Best quality, worth the price
Absolutely the best way to go to modify your radio to accept your phone. The sound is great. Just you tube on how to remove your car radio and plug it in the cd changer port.
