Hawk Performance HB180Z.560 Performance Ceramic Brake Pad

I purchased these for a 2011 Subaru WRX STI and they went in fairly easily. It would have saved me some time if the product description mentioned that it comes with new shims. I took the time to clean the old ones.Brakes are extremely smooth and quiet, however stopping performance is good. After installation i took the car out on some back roads just to check the hard stopping power and they seemed to function well.

A little noisy, but I think that's because it's coming from the one disc that wasn't cleaned before bedding. Otherwise, GREAT brakes with VERY low dust. It is missing that bite that comes with more ferric composite pads, but I'm not missing the dust and the brakes still perform well.

Great replacement pads.Smooth progressive breaking, low dusting and quiet.Completed a 2000 mile road trip with them and very little residue on my rims.

I purposely didn’t wash my car for a week to see how much build up I would get.I have been downshifting more to reduce the amount of braking I have to do. When i do brake I do it aggressively since that seems to not create the squeal. This also might be the reason for the amount of brake dust. I ordered a new pair of these to see if I got a defective pair. I’ll update this review once new pair arrives.UPDATE 7.8.19No changes.. The squealing is worse than before even after 600 miles of driving.I will be returning these.Hope this review helps.- easy to install.- bedding process was simple.- after 2 days of driving they are starting to squeal at 5-10MPH braking. Not sure what the deal is. I’m going on a 600 mile trip tomorrow and will update this review after that. If the squeal persists I will be returning these and purchasing Akebono or OEM.

I used those for Track days although it's mentioned for Street only , still they out performed OEM one as Daily or Track

These are not quiet by any means... when they squeak it's more like a scream. In a 14 sti hatch. Used new shims and the grease they came with. It is terrible.
