TAGI 10 feet Square Outdoor Umbrella with 40 Solar LED Lights, Cantilever Pole with Crank Lift, 8 Iron Ribs, rotatable, Beige

For the price, its great and easy to operate. I had a small concrete slab poured so that I could securly moujnt the umbrella. There is, what I consider a design flaw with this unit. There is a bottom aluminum sleeve with would normally attach to the stand provided. Its a stand common to most of these types of umbrellas and would not in anyway prevent it from tipping. The problem is attaching the top sleeve which the umbrella is attached to, to the bottom sleeve. There is a flimsy 3" or so plastic sleeve which both aluminum sleeves slide into. Even with it properly installed, it will not hold the top to the bottom. My handyman had to go to Home Depot and rig something up to join the two pieces. I also had him run a metal wire from the top of the umbrella to the chain link fence post for added stability. For the price its not bad, but you are going to have to do some modifications to install it securely. I've never purchased an umbrella of this sort before, so I can't compare it. The fabric material seems think and it does have solar lighting like the more expensive umbrellas of this type. The price wasn't bad either. If you don't mind tinkering a bit with it, the it would be a good deal because of the price and features.

We ordered this in hopes to leave it up most of the day to create shade on our patio furniture , it is beautiful sturdy and color is great. Love the lights too. But we come to find out all cantilever umbrellas sway in the wind. This has nothing to do with the base. The base we actually stick under our deck railing and it is perfectly sturdy. It's just the top causing the umbrella to move a lot on windy days. Or even mildly windy. So we kept it and only use it when we are outside under it. (Defeating purpose of why we plbought it ) you can buy bungee cords I have heard to keep the top from swaying so we might try that. It's only $100 so honestly for the price it's pretty to keep and use as needed. If you are looking for a suuuuuuper sturdy umbrella that doesn't sway you MUST PURCHASE THE $400 plus ones (eclipse and purple leaf ) bc they do not sway.

I purchased this umbrella thinking that it sturdy because it was constructed of heavy Aluminum the ribs were my main concern. I love the look and the design appearance. Upon the arrival assembly I found not to difficult thanks to the fact I am one of those people who don't read instructions. If you need instructions you might have a problem. I owned this umbrella for only 3 weeks. I live in a very mild climate, a slight wind blew and the umbrella was trash. What was so devastating was to find out was all this heavy constructed aluminum was all held together with a very thin plastic clip that held the umbrella sale to the stand. This umbrella will not hold under any wind conditions. A slight breeze under the canopy will render it trash. The construction of the umbrella makes it unable to repair. Any and all 5 star reviews of this umbrella, have not had it for very long before they wote their review. It is impossible for this umbrella to last any amount of time outdoor conditions.

Package was flimsy and open but item arrived intact. Works great but make sure you have it bolted down or get weights that fit under the center bracket. I had to install spacers to make everything work. A stiff breeze will make you nervous...thinking that something in the mechanism might snap. So far, everything is holding up.

High quality, easily assembled. Perfect addition to our deck. Well designed for easy operation.

the material totally fell apart after using it 3 times and only owning it for about 3 weeks

Wrong base sent and lackluster customer service at TAGI to resolve the issue. Very disappointed.
