LA CERA Womens Cotton Nightgown Summer Nightgowns for Women 100% Cotton Chemise - Blue - 1X

I have always been a pajamas girl but saw this and thought it was cute so decided to try it. I now want the blue one. It is so comfortable and light. Very lightweight.the material is both light yet seems of very good quality.

This night gown is not only pretty but very comfortable and roomy. I bought a 3X but could have bought a 2X and that would have fit just fine but I don't mind the extra room. I read several of the reviews and a few said there was some shrinkage so I washed it in cold and put it on a hanger and lined dried it.Next time I will put it in the dryer on low heat. It was well worth the price. I wish I could find other colors. FYI some of the reviews didn't like the beads on the bodice they are so small you hardly know they are there. Ladies if any of you have hot flashes at night this is the nightgown for you.

I love everything about this nightgown. The cotton fabric is light and airy but high quality. The embroidery is lovely. I didn't know my style had teensy little beads but they don't disturb me. Color and length are perfect and of COURSE I love the pockets. I am ordering two more in different colors.

It really is so pretty and soft. The beading on the top, front is very delicate and attractive. I only wish it didn't need to be ironed after washing. I don't iron it for lack of time, but it would look much better, in my opinion, if it didn't come out of the dryer wrinkled. Also the top part is a little too small for the rest of the nightgown.which is very roomy and comfortable.

Super comfy and light weight for this humid heat wave. The blue is not at all sheer so no worries about what others might see. Some mention wrinkles: of course 100% cotton is going to wrinkle. But, who cares? It certainly will get wrinkled as soon as you sleep in it! My only issue was the label is sewn on and irritated me but a few minutes with a seam ripper took care of that.

The Pros:*It truly is 100% cotton, medium weight. Plenty of fabric in the front which aids with the see through factor.*Beautiful embroidery and ruffled detail.* High quality for this type of garment; in my opinion, a tad overpriced; but if you are a fan of cotton; you won't mind paying a bit more.*This is great to lounge around inside or outside, cuddle with knees under the gown or sleep in (fantastic for hot flashes!).*Washes well and the color doesn't bleed (I ordered pink)*Has 2 side pockets which I absolutely love.*The bust area is somewhat "reinforced" meaning it's almost double the weight which is intended to block the transparency of the nipples and areola.The Cons:*The pattern is simply not cut right. It might be good for an asian woman as they tend to have less breast size and a narrow back. I am 5'4" and 38b-c boob size and it is uncomfortably tight in the armpit/bust area.*When I talked about "being reinforced" as intended to cover the nipples and areola in the pros, is because it's a nice feature for additional coverage without an overall, the sad part is that it's actually not achieved; as the armpit runs super high making the bust line higher than what it would normally be, thus the reinforced area falls above the actual boob and not on it. This makes it a good fit for women with narrow back, sagging boobs or simply low or small breasts if you want a comfortable fit as is meant to be. This is the reason why I gave it 3 stars.*Price is a bit high in my opinion; when comparing overall value: quality, design, price and delivery time. Considering the quarantine due to the COVID19, it took about 10 days to arrive.*This brand will fall in my opinion; third when compared to "The 1 for U" and "Alexander de la Rossa" also sold here at Amazon; and strictly due to the faulty pattern.I don't usually like to compare products to a different maker, only because I feel there is always something that makes items a tad different than others and they should all be rated according to their features and not based on other brands. The reason I did this on this item and on another gown from La Cera I ordered at the same time; was simply to note that it would be number one on my list if the pattern problem was not an issue. I felt very frustrated that both gowns did not fit right on me. Nevertheless; I kept one to give away (to a smaller framed person which I know will simply love this) and I'm hopeful to be able to loose some weight in order to enjoy this one.Hopefully the maker will reassess this and post it on the product description when a the pattern issue is corrected so we know they have paid attention to women of more volume.I live in Miami; so this weight is perfect, whereas the other 2 brands I mentioned; one is much, much thicker and the other one much, much thinner. I must say; equally beautiful; but the embroidery on this gown and in general of La Cera's gowns are far more intricate and beautiful than those of the other makers mentioned herein.Please, please correct this issue. I would definitely buy more of your product and I'm positive other women would buy more of it too. Some of them have mentioned this issue as well.

Soft, roomy gown with pockets! The front comes up high enough to be modest with wide, substantial shoulder straps. Very cool to the touch. I bought the pink and blue. Definitely worth the price.

This is a quality garment with lovely details and excellent craftsmanship. It is 100% cotton so will need to hang dry or be ironed. It is so flattering and cool. Not transparent but tantalizingly opaque. This might remind of times gone by but it's not your granny's nightgown.

As expected, this is a very nice and comfortable night gown. Excellent material, comfy cotton. Nicely packed and arrived ahead of schedule. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

It is light and pretty but the fabric and construction are far cheaper than the price. I expected better quality given the cost.
