Knapp Made 7mm Chainmail Scrubber, Large, Silver

I love my cast iron skillets but this is the best way to clean them...so easy to use and it does a great job!

this has been working well since I got it about a month ago. I like that it works on everything but nonstick. I wish it were a little bigger. Seems to be holding up well.

So far so good. Just received it and used it within minutes. Made bread in my cast iron skillet which I have done several times with no problems. This batch didn't come out of the skillet and a hard crust stayed in. Since I couldn't soak the skillet it water I used the scrubber which scraped off the crust. Don't know what I would have used if it weren't for the scrubber. Anxious to try it again on something other than bread crust. The wet bread crust didn't goo up the scrubber either and it rinsed off with ease.

This chain cleans cast iron very well. I was excited to use it after cooking a pan of scrambled eggs. HOWEVER...as others have noted...it removed the built up seasoning that took a long time to create. Initially even with gentle use it removed the finish in small amounts. This broke open edges on the finish which then continued to come off in my cooking. I finally used the chain to aggressively remove as much of the finish as I could so I could start over building a smooth seal. I will not be using it again unless my intention is to do some serious cleaning of a pan where an uneven finish needs to be removed and the pan cleaned to the metal!!

Smaller than expected. Not hand friendly. Had to rub repeatedly to get all food off. Looking for something better & easier to use. Wouldn't buy again.

It works well enough, but honestly it's not as effective at scrubbing as I'd like it to be. Ways to improve the design would be to have some kind of rigid frame or block that you could attach it to, so you can use it while the cast iron is still hot, and thus, season it immediately afterwards.

Does a great job on the cast iron pots but is not a welded loop chain.

I bought this to use on my cast iron pots. It works equally well on my other cookware. Worth the investment.
