Description
- Echinopsis 'GOSSAMER' has a 6" bloom in light lavender-pink with a darker midstripe, and a small white area at base with white filaments.
- Growth is globular to 4". The plant offered in the 3 gallon black pot is approximately 3" in height.
- Echinopsis are NOT a Mojave Desert Cactus. They're a cool, low mountain cactus crossed with the original species from Peru.
- Easy to grow, and a profuse bloomer of gorgeous blooms! Pups very easily, too!
- Echinopsis Hybrids are similar to Epiphyllums, as they have large, vividly-colored blooms, but they resemble columnar desert cactus, and have spines. Unlike Trichocereus, Echinopsis tend not to grow as large, and will only reach 1-2 feet at full maturity; many will stay even smaller.
Echinopsis 'GOSSAMER' has a 6" bloom in light lavender-pink with a darker midstripe, and a small white area at base with white filaments. Growth is globular to 4". This plant can take full sun all day by coastal locations, but likes a short break from the sun during summer months in more inland locations. A shadow cast from a structure or vegetation works just fine. Loves rich, well-draining soil all year round. Hybridized by Bob Schick.
