The lens and clip are very simple to attach and use. Once the lens is attached to the clip it can be clipped in place in seconds. What I enjoy most is that it gives you a wider area to take pics without moving further away and losing detail. The clip has a face light with cool and warm lights that works well. The lens front detaches to a smaller lens for micro shots It is nice to have the ability to do with my phone without packing my large camera always. Quality is decent for the price.

First of all the quality was surprisingly good - good pouch, nice sturdy lens, decent flood light, but...It started with the fact that website description says 20x zoom lens but arrived box clearly says 15x.But in reality zoom lens are not usable - they are not 15x, they are 4x at the very most. What a disappointment. Wide angle lens adds some angle but can be barely called wide-angle.Goes back right away.

We have a large family and this really helped to be able to get the WHOLE family in the photo! No one was squished. Everyone’s face was still clear when we zoomed in. The image didn’t look distorted in the edges or anything. It was also really easy to use. I now want to buy a bunch of different lenses as this was a such a good experience!

I bought this for the macro lens, hoping to do close up, magnified pictures. The macro lens is high quality, but the magnification looks like 2X or so. I took two pictures of a quarter, no zoom or anything like that, one with the macro lens, one without it.The macro lens allowed me to get closer, but didn't really seem to magnify much at all. I'm not complaining about the clarity, but the magnification. At work I sometimes hold a 10X eye loupe over my phone's lens, and it magnifies it much more than this, it's just very awkward to do. I am using the macro lens by itself, I don't have the wide angle lens attached, as per instructions.

I bought this product for its macro function. Description indicated “15x“ (magnification presumably?). What this product really does is allow you to put your phone closer to whatever you’re taking a picture of and have it remain in focus which does enlarge the image. I have no way of evaluating the “15x” claim. I bought this to take a picture of the stylus of my turntable cartridge which I was able to do but it did not get the image as large as I had hoped it would. Be aware that getting really close to some objects is not easy. No problem for use with a coin or stamp troublesome for a mounted turntable cartridge stylus whose tracking angle you want to measure. I’ll throw it in a drawer. Not worth returning and might be useful in the future.

With iPhone X - Wide angle is not good at all.,See the pictures taken in wide angle lens.Macro is not so great as well .. you would achieve the same with portrait mode in iPhone X .. still it is okay to use macro to get more closeup ..The only issue using this with iPhone X is you need to keep switching the lense while switching from photo mode to portrait which is painfull

I was excited when my package arrived, but then quickly let down once I tried to use it. It’s a little difficult to align with my iPhone 7 Plus. The clip is barely on the phone securely once I’m able to align it without in shadows in the corners. My major issue was that I’m not able to use the macro lens because the wide angle lens is on so tight it cannot be unscrewed from the macro lens. I have had 3 men try to unscrew and none of them were able to do it. I’ll have to wait and see if my replacement has the same issues or not. Major let down.

I have been looking into buying phone camera lens for awhile and finally gave in, and so glad I did. This camera lens takes some amazing near professional camera quality photos, even comes with the light to improve lightning and avoid shadows. It did take some time to figure out how to use it but once you try a few times, it’s pretty simple. I like the compact size case it comes with, easy to carry the camera around, while keeping it protected.
