Knife Slice Knife and Scissors Sharpener! (Red/Black)

Not very effective product - I have another sharpener (maybe 25 years old) with the same set up of the "sharpeners" but it is meant to be held and has a guard to keep the blade from cutting the holder. The unit I received has a malformed vacuum seal piece - it is somewhat deformed one on small area, just enough that a tight seal cannot be made to last for more than a stroke or two of a blade through the sharpener. I place it on truly smooth surfaces, not my granite counter top - but stainless steel and Corian. This type of sharpener is hard on the knives - takes a pretty fair amount of metal and changes the angle of blade's cutting edge. I use such devices only on my old/cheap/dull knives. Those knives due to being not a high grade carbon steel don't take an edge easily and this method makes them useable a bit longer. At least the price is quite low on the product - and in this case quality follows fairly closely the price. I have a photo, but cannot find a way to upload it in this review,

Not a sharpener at all, it is an edge honer. It is essentially a steel (long metal stick that you brush knives on to file away the dullness caused by cutting boards) that you can rest on the counter.Pros: the suction cup works well for short periods of time, also a coneasy to usesmall statureCons: Doesn't stay on for any longer than a few minutes to glass or tileDoesn't take any significant amount of metal off blades (which indicates the sharpening of a blade) unlike a "diamond" sharpener where you can actually see the new, shiney metal.

I liked that it has a suction so i can place it wherever i need it. I sharpened my blade and then attempted to slice a piece of cardboard with one quick stroke. It didn't work out how i wanted. However, i do like how portable it is.

The suction part to hold it in place did not work.

We already had one, ordered others for gifts for hunters. Love the quick sharpening.

Cheaply made because it is cheap.

These are awesome! So easy to sharpen your knives even serrated edged ones.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself for sending out a toy knife sharpener instead of a normal sized sharpener that will sharpen any knife instead of a toy knife. To send it back to you I would only get $2.85 and it is not worth it to me to return. I am so disappointed. I do not know what to do. Never again, though. RH
