This is a nice lunch bag--my tween son really likes it--mostly for the cute gorilla emblem, and my daughter has hinted she would like one, too, so it appeals to both sexes. It fits a sandwich box, small water bottle, two other small snack boxes and a bar very nicely. It is stretchy and also washes well. The problem is the zipper. The actual zipper tab broke in half after less than two weeks. It is made of very thin metal. I returned it to Amazon and got another one, but it's only been a week. I emailed customer service prior to my return and never heard from them. As for the smell--it smells like new tires, but it wasn't that bad and dissipated after a day. The bag would be great if had a heavy duty zipper. I will keep on the lookout for one that's better quality,

I bought this bag for my son to use for work. It holds much more food ( and containers) than a paper bag, doesn't crinkle up in his backpack, and can be used to keep food cold with an ice pack. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does smell. I washed it and layed it out to dry as suggested and it still smells. At this point I have washed it approximately 4 times and the smell is lessening. I am sure eventually it will completely dissipate. Other than that it is great!!!

Great bag for carrying a lunch. As far as the smell is concerned, follow manufacturer instructions and you'll notice the smell dissipate in no time. This process can be repeated any time the bag takes on a funky smell, which may happen after a month or two of consecutive use. The bag holds a LOT and stretches well, although I am concerned that I'm pushing the limit on the zipper a bit. I could probably fix that if I broke it though, and that would hardly be a manufacturer defect. I really stuff things in there. On a daily basis, I can get an ice pack, a sandwich, a yogurt, an apple, two bottles of water, a Red Bull, and sometimes more into the bag. Now, whether or not you can fit this into your fridge at work is a different story...

This is a stylish, flexible lunch container that's easy to wash. Unlike the insulated bags I was using, water can't leak into the interior walls and cause mold. That's the good.The bad? Because this bag is meant to stretch around your items, you have to apply force to zip it closed. Not a problem, except that the flimsy aluminum zipper almost immediately began to protest under the strain. It began to bend, and then, inevitably broke in half. Now it's even harder to zip, using a tiny zipper remnant. My advice to the manufacturer is to use a sturdy, stainless steel zipper to make this product a winner.

As noted by other reviewers there is a slight odor when you first use this bag. The manufacturer did reach out to me to acknowledge this and provided tips on how to lessen the smell. I thought this was a nice touch by the Gorilla Bag company. It does a nice job of keeping things cool until lunch rolls around. It also holds more than I expected as the material is very giving.

I love this bag. It's stretchy and can hold a ton of food and ice packs. I commute two hours to work in the morning and while the bag isn't insulated, my food is still plenty cold when I get to work as long as I include an ice pack. When it gets funky, I just toss it in the washing machine and let it air dry.

I am posting a bit early since I just got the bag. So far I love it. It is a perfect size for the Tupperware of leftovers that I brought to work. I really like that there is no wasted space for an ice pack, but it still keeps the food cold on the way to work.I also think that the owners of the company care a lot as they send a follow-up email reminding you what to do if your not satisfied with the product and that neoprene has an odor when new (which it did a bit). I hope they continue to make good products.

Why do I loooooove my hoopla? Where do I start? This bag is amazing. My days are long, with long commutes. This bag has made my life much easier. I pack a yogurt for breakfast, salad for lunch, and fruit for snacks in this bag. The grip is comfortable which is important to me as I am usually already carrying my work stuff, schoolbooks, and gym clothes. Having a Hoopla means that I no longer have to find space for food in my bags, or balance a heavy shoulder bag. Also, the name Hoopla is my new favorite word.
