Really cool kit with some groovy EXTRAS that can be expanded on with modular sections; GREAT for RPG's and 1/72 scale gaming
Okay. Basically, I bought this for use with 25/28 mm & 1/72 scale gaming. This is a really cool product. The Pro's:1. It's really easy to assemble2. It comes with a siege engine, catapult and similar items useful for laying siege to those bastards holed up in there! Use the catapult to launch a plague victim amongst them! That'll boost morale inside! I mean, if you look at it from a defenders standpoint, a plague victim flying over the ramparts and landing amongst your troops will make them soooo happy that they might just lock you in a room with the body!3. It's really detailed and realistic.4. Let's say you're the defender, you've got a handy dandy ledge on the walls so set archers thereupon.5. Fire that plague victim back at your enemies! Let them sweat it out. Maybe it could be a kind of medieval hot potato of certain death! The best part of this kit is it's expandable and allows the addition of more pieces: you can buy more kits (I bought 3) and have huge castle keep walls to call your very own (each kit has roughly 3 feet of linear walls that connect to the towers - I have more than 9 feet of walls to use because I purchased 3 kits - BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!).The Con's:1. The towers are kinda small (roughly 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches wide at the base)2. The walls are one sided (e.g. they don't look like stone on the back side - they just look like the back side of a model)3. Everything is all one grey/black color. I painted mine to give it a more realistic look and feel.4. The miniatures that come with this are 2 inches tall and resemble more of a child's toy.I'd say that I'm happy that I purchased 3 of these and I feel like I got my money's worth. It's nowhere near the quality of Games Workshop (or anyone similar) but you can do a lot with the pieces of this kit.Keep gaming!Bill

Awesome castle
Great castle set, well designed, well painted and it came well-packaged. Even the price is right. I have nothing but praises to sing about this product. I'm going to use it on display with my D&D miniatures collection (it's the perfect size). Heck, I like this thing so much, I'm going to buy the bigger set to go with this now.

A pain to put together considering how easily it falls apart
Bland. Needs a little detail, but I guess you can add some yourself with paint or marker. Fits together somewhat poorly. A pain to put together considering how easily it falls apart.

Great castle, great price!
My boys love this! Definitely worth the $6.00 I paid! They have played with it for three days straight now for hours! The knights have the look of army men. The castle comes apart and snaps back together. The cannon balls are very tiny and can be easily lost....right now, this is their favorite toy! Thank you

Kids love it
Not sure if (we adults) think highly of this, but my kids who love Knights are bananas about it.

... do without the knights and the cage is completely dumb. Even the catapult and cannon could go
I could do without the knights and the cage is completely dumb. Even the catapult and cannon could go. The siege tower is adequate, needs more detail, and the castle is very good with some glue. The price is decent. The set is expandable if you buy more of this brand castle... I like that. If they got rid of the side junk and dropped the price five bucks... it would be 5 stars.
