Very Good Value
Worked very well with an Iwatani burner for making some soymilk shabu shabu. Both Japanese people in attendance were impressed by its both practical and aesthetic qualities. It did a great job of holding heat in.As some have warned, the instructions are Japanese only, but with the proliferation of donabe made in other countries which just are not up to snuff in anything but vaguely looking like a donabe, I think this is only a good sign indeed.

Only Japanese instruction. There was no response to inquiries. This was a gift and I did research on my own to find instructions.

Yum!
What a beautiful pot. It has made the soups and stews I've cooked taste delicious and it has rekindled my love of food. This is totally worth the money.

Great donabe!
Amazing donabe, especially for the price. It easily feeds 4, and I can carry it anywhere with my portable gas burner. This is easily one of my most prized kitchen appliances. The heat is dispersed perfectly, great pot!
