YES! says a Heavy Boned Sinker.
As an old heavy boned sinker, I needed help to transition from happily swimming long distances using fins and a front snorkel to being able to swim further than 25m freestyle using just my arms. Very well made, but initially way longer than needed for my slim ankles, shortening the foam floats to the required 29cm was fairly straightforward using a large hole punch and a long bladed modelling knife (the size quoted is wrong - I cut off over 8cm to get down to 29cm, and mine measure in at 10cm wide and just 1.4cm thick) .With these on my ankles so preventing my legs and feet from sinking and acting as water brakes, I glide through the water almost as easily as the lighter boned members of the population do without realising how lucky they are, and during the recent period when my local pool was open between lock-downs I easily managed a relaxed 150m before my shoulder muscles demanded a rest.YES!

Arm floats
Great for me as I am not the greatest swimmer and these give me more confidence when in the pool

Easy enough to use, but inflatable armbands have more buoyancy

Easy in off and no blowing up and hurting to get on/off
Having suffered a stroke swimming is so good for me but my left arm effected arm I wear both I’ve top over bottom. Gives me confidence. But doesn’t feel in the way. Perfect
