my favorite so far
Read the two prior stories with Donavan and Weston but for some reason I have enjoyed this so much more. Audrey is fun and hilarious at times and such a balance to the moody, serious Dylan. I could hear his British accent and found this to be a rare balance of laughter and tears. This will be one I reread again and again.

Second book in the Dirty Sweet series
The second book is oh so sweet, with hot scenes that will make you a little hot (or a lot if its your thing) and a great story line I give this book 4.75 out of 5 stars. The taboo is not really my kink so I think that is what my hangup is with not give it a complete 5 stars, but boy are there some great scenes! Which is why a give it 🌶🌶🌶🌶 its not Ghost pepper hot, but it is in between a jalapeno and a giant pepper! This book might drive some people a little crazy with all the "I can't" talk but it ends up being worth it in the end. If you like Age-gap, Single Parent, strong female lead and a few other tropes this would be a good book for you but make sure you read Dirty Liar before you this one.I hope this helps you find your next Tantalizing Tome!

More Angst
I have to say I liked this book more than the first one. This one had a lot more angst in it, and did a lot better job at getting me emotionally invested in the characters and the stories. When we start off time has gone by and while Audrey’s life has changed (she graduated and is looking for work), Dylan’s really hasn’t and he finds himself wanting to see her.I really liked how we moved settings for this book, how we ended up in London and Dylan runs into her randomly one day. They have a tension between them from the very beginning, but neither of them are going anywhere with it. Audrey still wants to find “The One” and Dylan still doesn’t think he is right for her since they are so opposite. The whole friends with benefits thing of course brought some great angst to the whole thing, and Dylan constantly trying to right by Audrey only ends up hurting her feelings. Even though Dylan hurts Audrey’s feelings in this book, and it really did tug at my heartstrings, he wasn’t a bad guy. There was really no villain in this book, and I wanted good things for both of them, well I wanted them to end up together. There was of course some pretty spicy scenes in this book, and they were well written and enjoyable. I was also happier with the length of this book than the first, the whole thing just felt more developed and more enjoyable.

Sweet Fate ( Dirty Sweet Book 2)
Dylan didn't have a chance from the beginning, Audrey was full of life, young but wise beyond her age. She fell for Dylan right after she met him. It was fate that brought them together, even though he was so much older than Audrey. She decided she wanted him period and she made sure he was jealous of the guys she dated in London. But she had her eyes on him and she never gave up on him. Dylan had been married before, cheated on by his wife, so he was out of society and was incapable of thinking he could fall in love with a younger woman. This story was absolutely incredible to read, A awesome plot for this story. Even though the story continues on with his friends stories, I am happy to stop here and not read the rest of the series. Enjoy!!

The World Needs More Dylans!!!
"I didn't belong in her world. She didn't belong in mine. Life after love was a desert. That was where I lived. That was my truth. Any vision I had of Audrey being there with me was a mirage."I absolutely loved this duet!! Audrey is amazing - she's strong, and sexy, and whimsical, and just perfect! Dylan is mature, and grounded, and commanding and totally smitten!Dylan Locke has a problem. He can't stop thinking about Audrey and that steamy week in the states, where he was supposed to be the teacher, yet became the student, in the lessons of love. Running in to her at the wedding of Sabrina and Donovan only proved to strengthen his undeniable attraction to her. Now, back in London, he's trying his best to forget her, forget his delusions of making her his, and just move on. A walk in the park will put those plans straight to hell. She's here. But one thing hasn't changed, no matter how much they're drawn to each other. She wants the fairy tale - the house with the picket fence, a brood of kids, the whole picture. Things he can't give her. How is he going to keep this in the friend zone, and eventually watch her walk away with another man - a man that can give her what he himself, can't?Audrey Lind has a problem. She's in love with Dylan Locke. The problem? He's made it abundantly clear that he doesn't want her. - not for the long haul anyway. Can she keep this at a friends-with-benefits arrangement while her heart is longing for so much more - for .....everything? She's told him what she wants. He's told her he can't give it to her. How much is she willing to compromise to be with the man she loves?Gah!!! This couple slays me!! Audrey pushing Dylan's boundaries to try to make him admit what he feels for her. Dylan breaking his own heart over and over for the sake of her happiness. I totally swoon over this couple! This pair is a true testament to notion that, when fate puts the right person in your path, you need to stop and take notice. I would definitely recommend this duet to everyone !!

“that’s a lot of power you’ve given me..”
Hmm…this is a hard one. There story was good, but it wasn’t great. Dylan was exhausting. I get it, you had a bad marriage, blah blah blah but dang dude, you just going to be miserable the rest of your life? Even after confronting how you’re feeling, you’re still wishy washy…it just got exhausting. Audrey knew what she wanted and just wanted him but she wasn’t going to hang around much longer. I give her props for continuing to seek the love she wanted. They do get their HEA after his ex wife basically tells him truths on why he was the way he was and I liked her a lot more.I love this author and this is totally my opinion. Dylan and Audrey just isn’t my favorite couple.

Another one in this series
I really connected to Dylan and he’s heartbreaking thoughts and beautiful soul - he tried so hard to do the right thing (or his perception of the right thing) but the natural attractions took over. I really enjoyed that this was all his POV - rare when that happens and like hearing the guys version. Looking forward to the “Wild Trilogy” next 😁
