Two Pack 1/2 inch Grade 80 Dark RED/Maroon Dura Link Safety Chain Connector Link

2019 f-350 has the most awkward shaped holes for safety chains. I was using 1/2 chain links but they were only rated for 3,300 lbs. these will fit most heavy duty safety chain hooks and we’re exactly what I needed. I used a 4lb mini sledge and if you hold them kinda twisted you can get a good hit on them. Also a slightly smaller pin from the backside to keep them lined up makes it easier. Not impossible to install (less than 5 minutes) but I can see where it may be difficult. I will buy more for other trucks in our fleet for sure.

I was a little worried abut the install based on the other reviews. To me, the install was easy! Just lined the bushing up gentle tapped to seat it, then had to whack it a bit with a fairly small ball- peen hammer to drive the pin through. Look nice and I look forward to not having the safety chains pinching on the Ford mounts!

Easy to install. A hammer and less than 5 minutes to install. Appears to be well made. Installed on F-250 2020

They work great but if your putting them on a 2019 or newer F250 they can be a pain in the ass to put on. I suggest you use a 6" or 8" C-clamp to start with. do not try to hammer initially. Slowly use the c-clamp to start inserting the pin. You'll know it's started because you won't be able to pull it back out. I'd suggest getting a wooden dowel pin and stick it in the opposite end to keep the holes lined up while you hammer the pin thru. If all the holes stay lined up it's pretty easy.

Looks great, will work exactly as described. Mega-Pain in the rear to install. Too bad I didn't know to "pre-fit" the pins. Glad they're installed...they'll never come off!

Very heavy duty product but after 30 min of trying C-clamps, multiple hammers and solid surfaces I still could not get the pin the budge at all thru the lock. I’ll prob just use a nut and bolt instead.

Product is well made but linkage pin is useless. I ended up using bolts and nuts to connect the parts together. I got frustrated after an hour trying to pound the bushings in between the links

Extremely easy to install, good instructions with some helpful tips. Purchased these for my old truck and now a second pair for me new truck. Great product!
