Chinese medical tradition requires an entire examination prior to administering remedies. Self-treatment is strongly discouraged, so do not take it under any form without previous medical advice from a qualified herbalist practitioner. This herbal leaf is classified as safe if used according to indications on product labels, yet it is unrecommended if you are taking blood pressure medication, if you are pregnant or during breastfeeding. Even if there are no reports of known hazards , stay on the safe side and use cautiously this kind of herbal treatment.

Ridiculous waste of money!
Absolutely ridiculous quantity for the money! Silly me, b/c the needles are so light weight I thought there would be a decent amount in a 2 oz bag. See the teaspoon in the pic? That’s to show how small the bag of needles is. The recipes for using pine needle tea medicinally call for 1/3 C of chopped needles to 2 cups of water. The bowl is a 1/3 C measure.....looks like I may get three 1/3 C (for total of 1 cup of chopped pine needles). Which will provide 6 cups of tea!?!The species is not identified. These are clusters of 2 needles - and there are a couple species with 2 needles which should not be used internally.Don’t waste your money. Go find a friend with a white pine tree. Unlike some herbs, pine needles aren’t rare, endangered or hard to find. White pine has a cluster of 5 needles and are totally safe!
