It's a fancy ziploc bag
Good enough for short term use, but not for my intended use (carting a stupidly expensive work laptop while commuting by motorcycle). Good waterproof slipcovers for the laptop I'm working with are almost impossible to find, so this still remains the best solution I've encountered, though. I do use a very well made Chrome Industries bag that stays dry even in a downpour, so this bag is really only a backup in case of some sort of deluge apocalypse.

Worked great...for a month.
It's a ziploc bag with a metallic back. It's waterproof if you manage to get it zipped closed....for about a month, until it breaks open, just like any other ziploc.I'm a sailor and it was imperative that we find a waterproof sleeve for our laptop. This was most definitely not worth the price. Should be listed for no more than $6.99, and for people who are maybe just worried about riding your bike in the rain or something.

light weight alternative to a pelican case
I was looking for a pelican case for my lenovo 17 in computer. The 10 lb weight was a problem for me since the computer is already on the heavy side and I am planning to do some travel via sail boat. this is much sturdier than a zip lock bag and the 17 in lenovo and 17 in dell computers fit into it well. I would not use it as a true waterproofing device for complete submersion but it looks like if there was a leak in the boat and water was dripping on it that the computer would be protected. It also does not add bulk. It fits my needs.

£20 for a resealable polythene bag. Cheers.

Breaks easily.
It's basically a large, expensive ziploc bag, and after a month or so of us, the seal of the opening broke. So it's no longer even functional.

Keeps water out
I use this for any water-damage-prone items in my bag on rainy days. It holds notebooks and stacks of papers as well as a 15" laptop pretty comfortably.

my anti static hero
extremely large for my small circuit cards, but well worth the price to keep them from getting damaged.
