Review: Great Conversation Starters! - These cards are just what I needed for my Kindergarten class, to promote thinking skills, and encourage class participation. They are great for those few minutes in-between that need to be filled. I use them as conversation starters. The only thing I would change is that the cards, the size of regular playing cards, are a bit small - sometimes if the children are sitting on the floor and I use these cards, it's hard for them to see exactly what's on the cards, and I have to kind of pass the card around so that everyone can see. Other than that, I love them!
Review: Great! - We didn't get to try it at Christmas, so I thought it was a dud. Late in January my daughter decided to try it. My daughter, granddaughter, and myself sat down. The cards were great conversation starters. My grand daughter opened up and sure showed good sense when explaining what she would do in different situations. It gave all of us to get the chance to discuss important life situations that we might not normally do. Thanks!

**Q: what age group are these cards for?**
A: Hi. First of all the child must identify emotions already. I would say you can use them with children between 7 and 12 years old. It can also be the perfect exercise to help them think about different posibilities and ways to cope with hard situations in an assertive way.

**Q: Do these cards tell you what to do in these situations or are parents supposed to wing it?**
A: There is no information given telling you what to do.  These cards are supposed to start a conversation between you and your child/children so that you can instruct them.  The situations are not so uncommon that you - as the adult - will not know what to instruct the children to do.  These are wonderful cards!  I use them I'm my classes Pre-K through 2nd grade, and they are appropriate for these age groups with no problem.  I'm glad I got them, even though I had to pay for them myself ...
