HANTING All Brass 6 inch Shower Arm with Flange, Matte Black, Multi-Layer Electroplating

This is not one solid piece. The threading that screws into the ear is actually 2 separate pieces that the tubing screws onto. See pictures. It not only leaked but messed up the threading on the ear which I now have to replace!!! 😡 Definitely returning.Furthermore, I am remodeling and doing detailed leak checks, if you are just swapping this out you will not notice a leak behind the tile and it will cause a lot of future damage. You have been warned.

Wish I hadn’t bought this. I went to remove mine after I noticed I forgot to put the trim piece on and the attached picture shows what was left in the wall: apparently this is a two piece shower arm? Never seen one of those before! now I have to go buy a 10 mm Allen key to hopefully get this piece out of my wall and not have to tear all the tile out. Total P.O.S.

This shower arm is pure garbage. Don't let the photo fool you. This item is not one solid piece. It has a separate brass nipple that threads into the pipe in the wall and the other end into the shower arm. It does not turn correctly where the arm faces down due to a rubber gasket in the brass nipple. This item will leak.

I read the reviews on this shower arm and was a bit apprehensive on the price point, but after two failed arms that never sealed...this was the one I needed. Got the arm installed less than 10 minutes with Teflon rape and liquid plumbing sealer, turned on the water...and to my discover, no leaks. A solid built unit that is worth the price.

This is actually a lower profile to the wall than I expected, which is nice so the vertical extension doesn't come into the shower space too much, while still giving a good angle for a waterfall-style stream of water. It was a perfect height to transform a traditional height shower head from a tub to a more modern floor to ceiling shower. Also a good match for the other oil rubbed bronze fixtures.

The black finish on these pipes comes of with the least bit of contact with anything. Very thin and somewhat brittle coating. Do not use any tools handtighten only.

Does what it's supposed to do. I wish the shroud fit more snugly without an ugly looking black rubber fitting to squeeze it into place, but you get what you pay for.

This 6 inch shower arm has a beautiful black surface, thick wall, very strong, and very easy to install, and comes with a green ribbon inside, perfect.
