This is a very nice looking mug. It's not particularly insulated, so if you are looking for something to hold temperature for an extended period, this probably isn't the best for you. I happen to drink my coffee quickly once it reaches my desired temperature, so it doesn't present an issue for me.

I bought this as a gift so I can’t attest to the longevity of it, or how leakproof it is. It’s not as heavy as I thought it would be, but it’s a beautiful mug and our friend really seemed to like it!

My husband loves coffee and wood working so this was the perfect gift. It has held up great, no leaks or deterioration on the outside wood. He loves the handle, and how extremely lightweight the cup is

The bamboo finish on the mug is very smooth and pleasant. I like the thick rim of the mug because there's no sharp rim touching my lips while drinking. But when filling the mug with piping hot coffee the outside gets quite warm which means it's not very well insulated and the coffee gets cold more quickly than I would expect. Also, the handle is completely round which makes it more difficult to hold than a flat handle. For this price I would have expected more. I don't think I'd buy this again.
