The trap is perfect size and works great. I am a pretty good fish catcher when I have to get a fish out of my reef tank. I was trying to catch a particular wrasse for months and finally decided to buy this trap. Within a few hours, the wrasse was inside the trap and I let the gate down on him. He was caught! Great craftsmanship on the trap too. Tip: Put some food inside the trap and let it sit in the tank for a while so that the fish get used to it.

Works great, but it should come with some suction cups or something to secure it to the side of the tank, i ended up using some magnets.

I plan to return it, as maybe good for a trap short time but can not keep fish in there for long It was not what I expected

Received my package a day late. Opened the box and was poorly packaged. Opon inspection noticed the bottom was not welded on 1 whole side. Thankfully I had some weld on 4. Safe your money buy a better quality trap.

Had a outbreak of Marine Ich and needed to remove remaining goby to start fallow cycle in my display tank. Squirted flake/saltwater mixture in trap, first afternoon no luck, next morning (before lights came on) caught em!Was pleased with construction, thicker plexiglass, and seems pretty solid, thinking it will last a long time.Bigger than thought, should have used a ruler to get a reference, might have got the smaller one, however this one can be used for decent sized tang. Also more than I wanted to pay but again now that I have it I am sure I will use it again.

Trap fish with this acrylic fish trap. Whether you are trying to remove a sick fish or a bully fish it makes the job easier. Just place some food in the trap and wait for the fish to enter. Then you lower the trap door and remove the fish. Only downside is that it takes a lot of patience to wait for the fish to get accustomed to the trap and enter it for food.

It arrived in two pieces and I could not get the wall in the slots. For 60 bucks, save your money. Worth about 20 dollars I would say.

Worked perfectly, Very well made. Trap door works smoothly and quickly to catch fish by surprise. I used it to remove a large wrasse from a large red tank without having to disrupt the tank.
