Deep Throat Diva: A Novel (Zane Presents)

Preface: I'm just going to say Zane's Strebor authors Cairo and Alison Hobbs are some of the best writers in modern black fiction for sensual readers who love creative yet realistic stories with enticing spins.Thus said, I like Cairo. He writes in a sexually open manner but he doesn't oversaturate and make it so explicit it's just a soft porn novel. Pasha makes for an interesting antagonist. Unlike his other, more villainous leading characters in his novels, she's more of a regular diva: a fly business owner who runs Nappy No More, a full service beauty salon on the East Coast. She's doing great things with her life, and more or less simply is trying to stick by her man while he does a bid. Unfortunately, her sexual frustration forces her to bend the rules by giving head to men for erotic kicks. A self-proclaimed Deep Throat Diva, Pash uses some NastyFreaks4u.com (or something) website to find men to suck and swallow in anonymity.Every woman says she gives great head - we all think we know what we're doing, LOL. But Pash is on another level because somewhere along the line she gives the wrong man the most amazing head polish... and homeboy goes nuts. He demands another head session, claiming he's been thinking about her head game in county jail. Pash, disinterested in a repeat, turns him down and tries to keep it moving, which only aggravates her pursuer to intimidating levels of aggression, and finally, full-blown stalking and murderous threats.As things get out of hand, Pash tries to keep it cool with her man, who's coming home and suspicious of her fidelity, as well as supporting characters in the novel, including her sister Felecia. Yet and still, Pash still can't stop sucking off men under an anonymous moniker, and doesn't know how to control herself, her urges or this crazy head fiend she's sucked the sanity out of. Things come to a head by the end of the novel and I don't want to give it away but it was a damn good twist.Pros: Erotic, sexy, entertaining and arousingCons: A little repetitive. One of Cairo's "signatures" is that every leading lady in his books is "the BEST" and "the BOMB" ... and if you've read one book, you've kind of read them all when it comes to the repetitive boss chick attitude in the bedroom. Of course, there are also plenty of unanswered questions in terms of how Jasper uncovered Pasha's behavior, as well as several cliffhangers. According to several there is supposed to be a follow-up sequel... it will be interesting to see how this story kicks off, especially with the pregnancy, etc. I would also like to see some diversity in character attitude... and even letting a male character take the lead... but again Cairo is talented...

Well, oh me, oh my!!! It isn't too often that I am shocked by a storyline, but Deep Throat Diva had me in a state of awe! Pasha is trying her best to stay faithful to her man that is in prison, and she believes she has found a loophole in what is considered cheating. In her brain, if it is only oral sex and there is no penetration then she isn't cheating. Insert a WTF and a blank stare here!!!!"So I already recognize what the outcome will be if he ever finds out about my indiscretions. Yes, I still choose to dance with deception, regardless of the outcome."To say Pasha is off the chain is putting it lightly. Her boyfriend is obviously not someone to mess with, he is in prison for goodness sake but that doesn't stop her. She thinks she is being extra sneaky by finding hookups online and using aliases. Silly girl!Deep Throat Diva is not a book for prudes and/or uptight people. The good thing about this book is while it is definitely erotica there are some elements of action and suspense. I look forward to reading part two!!!

Cairo had done it again. The title alone showed that it was going to be a page turner and it was not a disappointment. Pasha is the owner of a popular hair salon by day and enjoys extracurricular activities by night that no one knows of not even her fiance. The author takes us on a ride with Pasha and her fiance Jasper through a web of love, lies, betrayal. After doing a five year bid in jail Jasper is ready to come back and be with the woman he loves the most and Pasha is happy as well. Needless to say Pasha past come back to haunt her and begins to threaten her future and expose her for what she is and ruin what she has but that doesn't keep Pasha from still playing with fire. Will Pasha give up her addiction and be with the one she loves or still play the dangerous game that she is playing?The book was a good read up until the end where we are left with a cliffhanger and wondering what is Pasha next move and how she will get revenge on the person who did this to her. Can't wait until the sequel.

Meet Pasha, a classy, sexy, goal oriented, down a** chick that lacks for nothing except her man by side at night feeding an insatiable hunger. Her man is on lock for four years, however Pasha holds him down and keeps her promise to not let any other dude dig her back out.But her man should of been more specific as Pasha finds another way to put out her fire. However, with her man getting out in a minute can Pasha stop what has now turn into an addiction? And if so can a obsessive fool stop messing with her?I enjoyed the book, nevertheless, not my favorite of Cairo. He leaves to many questions unanswered, like what was Pasha and her mans cousins snickering about? The ending in itself will leave you with evening more questions like who played what roles in it (you'll understand when you get there)? I love sex scenes but felt it was too much and those pages could have been left to add more to the story itself.

I love the ride or die relationship not sure it was love though. I couldn't wrap my mind around the mindset of Pasha's she is Paid , Slayed & Engaged but can't quit the 🍆👅🤦🏾‍♀️ sounds like shawty got issues too. She a hot mess and terrible at being discreet she had no respect for her relationship or self and no chill pregnant w/a man at home ..She deserve something but not rape that's to far It also would've been better with some chapters from Jasper.

I have not yet read this book as I am accululating Zane books so that I can have a reading spree once acquired all of them but Zane books never disappoint. Especially when you are not in a relationship, but that is too much information. They make you laugh, they make you cry, and the make you say hmmm interesting.....
