I bought this item the first time and it came out with scratches on the surface. I shipped it back and got a new one: it got scratches again.I got refunded by Amazon and they said I could keep the item so I gave it a go. I put £4 worth of batteries inside (not included in the box) and it lasted for a few hours before switching off. Replacing the batteries didn't help.The product itself is ok, easy to read and to adjust. One big issue is that if you touch the top of it you can hear a very loud voice saying what time it is, with no way of lowering the volume.Maybe I was unlucky but I would not recommend the product as it is.

I regret buying this clock..... if I want to see the time in the middle of the night and I hit the light button the clock speaks the time annoying anyone who is in the room. Also I cannot get the different alarm modes to work - the 5 day, 7 day alarm will not set properly.

I'm very happy with my new alarm clock. It's very easy to use, easy to see the time and I find have the room temperature included on it is very useful. The alarm is nice and loud but easy to switch off. Highly recommended!

This click is ok, it looks good and works fine, the only downside is that it loudly announces the time when you push to see the time in the night- which then wakes everyone up- I haven’t worked out how or if you can turn this feature off- otherwise great little alarm clock for the price

Very good little alarm clock. It is very loud as other reviewers have mentioned, but is exactly as I expected.
