ASUS P8H67-M PRO Rev3.0 motherboard
I bought this just before Xmas 2011 along with many other h/w parts (see my other reviews). It was a bit daft on my part not realising it has no floppy port to install the SATA raid drivers from a floppy disc when installing Windows XP (I intend to buy Win 7 later this year). It did not matter as I made a slipstream disc of my XP disc and incorporated SP3 and the SATA drivers. This was a big help, as my XP copy is SP zero! Only after SP2 did XP support PCI-e ports as it would not install otherwise. We live and learn.Anyway. After learning to slipstream a Windows OS disc, I was then able to install my Crucial M4 64GB SSD. Now I am playing COD4:MW via my ASUS GTX550 ti graphics card with maxed out settings!!It also has only one IDE port for two drives, then 4x SATAII and 2x SATAIII ports. As I had no SATA hardware whatsoever until this new system build I will be obtaining a SATA DVD-RW drive soon.In short: a very nice m'bd for a nice price.IMPORTANT NOTE: this one is the rev 3, see their website for the reasons behind the revision. Don't buy an older version!

Superb. Cannot fault this.
Got this for a new multimedia PC for the living room. So far it's working brilliantly, stock cooler and Antec Earthwatts it sips power, and hardly warms up at all whilst producing spectacular Blu-ray playback with ease. (Lord of the Rings never looked so good.) I've put in 4GB of RAM, a Crucial 64GB SSD and Windows 7 and it simply flies. I'll be whacking a large HDD for programme storage in soon.I got this version over the others because it has all the right connectivity, for me the optical SP/DIF connector was a must-have, although coaxial would have done this is very useful. Also the balance of PCI to PCIX slots was right since I have existing PCI cards I wish to use.Runing both a VGA monitor for browsing plus HDMI for the HD projector makes this a very useful little system.Highly recommended. Brilliant board.

Very Snazzy
Bought this item for a pc upgrade to use in a DAW set up. Not only does it look snazzy but performs like a dream. Very quick in combo with the intel chipset/processor. Quality!

Amazing!
Really good work from Asus! I assembled my desktop myself and I'm very impressed with the motherboard. A fine choice.

A good basis for a build
This M/B was recommended by a friend and I am pleased with its performance. It operates with an i5-2500K CPU. It has on-board graphics which allow (at least) the connection of the monitor, as well as internal sockets for SATA 2 & 3; an IDE connector (useful for that old HDD); USB 2 & 3 external sockets and 5 internal USB 2 sockets. An IDE ribbon cable and two SATA cables were included, as well as a good user manual. The BIOS is user-friendly and comprehensive, with a useful graphics-screen showing fan speeds and on-board temperatures; a great help when assessing the compatibilites of components on first start-up.

Do not buy for CORE i5K or i7K it will not overclock.
I was microsizing my system dropping from a MSI P68 Chip to a H67 chip. one due to price and two becuase, of the price.OK JUST to start. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE a CORE I5 or I7 chip with K on the end IE 2500k or 2600K, this H67 Chipset does not support any overcloking, making the extra investment for a K chip a w8st of money.Btw i do have a 2500k, silly thing to do. but never.Over all this is quite a good nippy little Asus Motherboard. Its got some top notch stuff, in here that you only rely expect to find on a larger ATX board.Sata 3 = Great and fast, im getting at burst speed, 700+ Mbps and getting about 150 to 200 on a long hall. using a SSD 60GB SATA3 tho.If you dont have a dedicated Graphics card, the mobo will rely help, 3D ready, quite nippy and if you need that extra umpth.there is a Overlock button. But im using a 6950 ATi 1GBWARNING WITH RAM!i have 1600Mhz ram but the system sets it,1333, its ok but when i try clocking it up the system crashes and then resets and loead 1333 settings againg. fustrating.Over the guys, its OK good enogh for gaming, ok i5 2500 or i7 2600 no need for Kfits in rely well with a M-ATX. Case.
