Quality Architectural Scale
I recently replaced my 15yo plastic scale with this and I’m so glad I did! The Holifiver scale is solid aluminum and will be part of my workday for many years! The bright red aluminum contrasts well with the white markings so it is easily legible and it comes equipped with inspiration on every side! I would gladly purchase again.

This scale ruled is awesome. It has multiple scales to make and drawings easy. I also use it to cut leather which keeps my fingers out of harms way. It also come with a cover so it doesn't get scratched.

Good Value
Good value with a few caveats; 1. The end corner tips of the ruler are sharp (not unanticipated). With the ruler's geometry being triangular I could see "accidents" occurring. Solution: given the measurement scales are not set at a zero offset, corner tips were lightly filed to achieve the "comfort level" sought. 2. This caveat is very minor but the "inspirational" quotes were, IMV, unnecessary. Solution: a red permanent marker was used to reduce their visibility (markings are within ruler's side indents and apparently etched so the marker paint should not be subjected to heavy wear necessitating repeated applications). Employed time-frame to achieve "perfection":- 5minutes!!! (happy drawing!!)

Good Scale, but sharp edges
The scale is nice, but the aluminum edges re really sharp. I rubbed the ruler ends with sandpaper to take the sharp edges off.

Nice weight
This is the nicest ruler of its type and I've ever owned. I do believe that the just could dent if it were dropped but I still like it better than all of the plastic ones I have owned.

Too Beautiful to use.
I'm afraid to drop this scale since it's appearance is so nice. Love the velvet bag it comes in. Lightweight and easy to use and read just like any other scale. Great gift idea for Architect or Draftsman.

Color works for me
Only reason I bought this was the color. I have blue yellow and white but with my eyes I find the red is the easiest to read. My eyes adjust faster with the red and white where a few years ago the yellow worked best.
