These are strong and rigid, able to hold down about anything (within reason) and do it safely. For the price, they're an excellent anchor point for tie downs that doesn't mar your bars, or break controls from slipping hooks. Well worth the money in this day and age of cheap, breakable, Chinese crap (no offense..., just how it is). Review: Simple but brilliant! - I was apprehensive due to the pictures (they looked a little thin), but these are some very stout rings. They are made of a heavy gauge stainless steel. Definitely not worried about bending them. Don't waste your time trying to find something similar at the hardware store - you won't. I know because I looked. Wish I had discovered these years ago. So much easier than hooks or soft loops over the bars!
