Swords, Spears & Maces (Illustrated History of Weapons)

Pictures are great but these seems to be a museum's collection rather than a true history. Presented in a historic order but not a history, which I was expecting. So items were limited and were mostly presentation swords and maces, little on spears. So not an illustrated History but a museum illustrated collection.

I purchased this item for my husband with whom I watch Forged in Fire every week. I was hoping that this book would have illustrations and histories of the swords that are featured every week on the program. It was not quite what I hoped for.

Not nearly as comprehensive as you hope, but still fully excellent and WELL worth the price. It's a bargain at three times the price! I almost feel guilty!

great book, as i got it used of which it didnt even appear used , it was an excellent book and an amazing referance to boot !
