Good... but noisy
The quilted topping is nice and soft. It feels almost like a microfiber towel would. However the lining is noisy with any movement on the bed. It has a crackling plastic sound, which I doubt will ever go away. I washed before use the new product smell was gone. I can't vouch for the waterproof aspect of it. You can tell it definitely blocks water after washing it. I think it would give enough time to remove the spill before it reaches the matress.

I'm not leaving my bed again
I don't know if it's waterproof (hopefully I won't need to prove that), but it's so soft, I don't even know if I care that it's waterproof or not. I'm amazed how something that's fairly thin can add this much comfort. Great purchase!

Best investment when you have toddlers
My mattress covered arrived right on-time. I have two toddlers on the move making messes. This will definitely prevent my mattress from getting ruined.

Keeps you cooler than others I’ve used and does not leak
Super soft, doesn’t crinkle and is way cooler than the “cooling” cover I bought from the mattress store for 8x the price. ETA: This is the best waterproof cover I’ve ever bought and does not leak at all!
